Some good place for mithril?Follow

After finally whipping up a batch of thorium I was excited to go to the AH, thinking I'd get a nice bounty for all my hard effort as the nodes sometimes gave me only 1 ore. When I finally got there I saw that thorium goes for in the 4g area, the same amount a stack of mithril is. I was forced to sell it for 3g 99s to make sure mine sells where as I usually sell mithril for 4g with no trouble. So, apparently on my server mithril is the far better choice, being more abundant and selling as well as thorium.

Would anyone be willing to share any good spots to farm some mithril?

When traveling from Swamp of Sorrow, Enter the Bad Lands on the path provided, as soon as you officialy enter the bad lands you will see a cave network just to the left after entry up a bit on the hill. All the mobs are around lvl 48 non elight, you can far ooooodlesssss of Mithril, True Silver, and Small Thorium in this cave. I have personally in the last 3 days taken myself from around 160mineing to 224minening in this cave. Allong with this abundance of mineral, you will find a Forge, and an Anvil just outside one of the cave entries!!!! if you an Engineer/Black Smith and a miner. This cave is for you! you can max all skillz with this cave once you can mine Mithril!!

Arathi highlands. Start at the pond near the 3way intersection, and work your way behind Stormgarde, go into the water,and circle the wrecked ships/sunken temple and collect the mithril there. Good mithril spots behind stormgarde. Where i collected all my mithril for the Mithril brotherhood quests.

Instead of Desolace, go to the Charred Vale immediately above Desolace (where it connects to Stonetalon). There are at least three Mithril spawns at any given time, it's a small, easily-traversable area, and the highest mobs are at 28-- easy prey for someone strong enough to actually mine mithril.

Tanaris and Searing Gorge has the highest concentration of Mithril in my experiece. U can easily collect 30 in one round(an hour time) in Tanaris including going into the Bee caves which has lvl 45+ bees. In those caves, u find Small Thorium Venis too. Outside the cave, they are found along the south and south west rim/hills.

In Searing Gorge, they are found in and around the cauldron. I usually collect 40+ when it was not crowded. I will b egoing there tonight to finish my Mithril Order quests. I am lvl 60 so I have no problem even going inside the lvl 50 elite den to get some thorium and the chest.
