noob alchemy question ^.^;;Follow

Hi yall!

Now when I say noob, I mean it!
I can't figure out how to get alchemy recipes! I think troll's blood is the first one you can get (?) but the [train] button is always greyed out. How do you get it? Do you have to get your skill up somehow first? Is there a quest? Do I have to do the trainer "special favours?" I'm sitting here with a herbalism skill of 110 and an alchemy skill of 1 lol

Any help is mucho appreciated!

I'm not trying to insult you, so please don't take it that way.

First, do you already have 2 tradeskills? If so, you'll need to cancel one of them to get Alchemy.

Next, if you have already piad the 10 coppers to train in Alchemy, open your spellbook icon thing, and go to the general page. The Alchemy icon looks like a test tube bottle.

Once you click that it will open an Alchemy list of things to make. When you first train it should add 3 recipes, Troll's Blood, Minor Healing Potion, and Elixir of Lion's strength, I think.

Be sure to have empty vials, and Peacebloom, Earthroot, and Silverleaf. Then, click the create button and it will make some potions.

Also, make sure you are talking to the right trainer, ie, the journeyman and not the expert or higher.

Hopefully you'll be able to start making potions ASAP. I hope this in some way helped.

Hey thanks a lot :) that cleared some things up, but I'm still having trouble.

I have two professions:
Herbalism and Alchemy

I trained in alchemy (got 1 point in it) but journeyman trainer still won't let me buy recipes. Also, I don't have that icon you were talking about. Is it possible to get rid of alchemy and re-train in it? It seems something didn't work....

MAby the reason it isnt letting you train because you arent at a high enough levle to train for that potion you have to make the first potions a few times to grow up your levle. when you have done that you need to look at your alchmey lv. under character to see if you are high enough to train for that specific potion. you can find what levle you need to be to train for the potion under it when you click on the potion. if you tell me what server and alliace or horde and what race i will make a character and put you on my freinds list i will show u when i make it. all i need is :

server-
alliance or horde-
whar race-
and your name-
have fun trying

Thanks Short&fat, but I got it figured out.. you ever notice sometimes you can't see something that's right in front of you? I must've checked my general skillbook page a hundred times for that alchemy button... but for some reason only tonight did I see it lol

Hopefully I'm good to go now ^_^v

thanks yall!
