I know there are certain items that add to your trade skill. This might be the only way. maybe future patches?

I know for skining, there is a knife called Finkles skinner that gives like +10 to skinning, and then there is a skinning enchantment that gives +5 to a set of gloves. These 2, along with an already 300 skinning allow you to get a pristine hide of the beast...which can sell for like 500g.

There are presently no patterns, plans, or formulas that require skill beyond 300 to learn and produce. It is unlikely this will ever change. There is a vast difference in quality of items that can be made at 300 though. Some 300 patterns are incredible (but also incredibly rare to reflect that, with very rare/expensive reagents).

Some exceptions: Fishing in very high level zones sometimes requires around 400 fishing skill. 300 is the skill cap, but with bait, rod, and glove enchantment, it is easy to boost your skill +100 or more.

Skinning is capped at 300 like anything else, but that means you can only skin up to L60 mobs (every 5 skill = 1 level higher mob you can skin). Presently, the highest level mobs are L63. So to skin them you're going to need a boost, as previously mentioned. Finkle's Skinner, and the +5 glove enchant are the only ways to go beyond 300.

there is nothing you need past 300 tradeskills to make but this site is confusing because they show the level at which the skills because green or grey to you. For the actual level needed to make subtract 20 from the collum marked Green

I'm not sure if -20 holds true for all items.... At L250 leatherwork you can learn to make rugged armor kits, and they go green at 260 I think.

Hate to break it to you, but gnome engineers can naturally get 315 engineering and make items other engineers can't.

OK, I bite,
List one? just one pattern that requires over 300? then you win and I will rate up all your posts forever.

Ok, may i ask if the web site was "www.thottbot.com"
If it was that website it is very helpful but the skill lvl will not be going high than 300 for a long time, it may but there is no word to it, the only reason why it has a higher number than 300, as it could be very rare or not added into the game yet.
