I believe 40 is the level for all skills above 225, but I may be wrong on that.

I know that First Aid, Cooking, are that way. I'm pretty sure the primaries are too.

I KNOW mining and engineering are less than that. Engineering is 35, mining I didn't check, but it is at least as low as 35, possibly lower. My friend says skinning is the same as mining. Thats all I know.

I heard, not positive, that gathering skills have no caps, but they are very limited by your level. You're not going to be getting Plaguebloom as a level 20, if you're an herbalist :-P

Almost positive that ALchemy has an Artisan requirement of 35. Not bad, since I think all recipes post 250 are level 40+ requirements to use. Once again, I have heard varying reports of level 35 or 40 or primary crafts.

I know that skinning doesn't have a level requirement and I don't think Herbalism or Mining do either. But like the above poster said you really can't raise it too high because you would have to go to the higher level areas/kill high level mobs to raise it.
I can think of tailoring which is 10 to get up to 150 then I don't know how much from there.
I haven't noticed Leatherworking having any requrements. I am up to 160 something at level 24. I do know that for the final level you need 40 to choose between the 3 branches.

- Herbalism seems to have no or very low limit... got the ability to hit 300 in the early 30's...

- Tailoring needs lvl 35 to go over 225

- Fishing goes over 225 with a Quest which needs lvl 40 to start, not sure but i guess this will be similar to First Aid and Cooking
