I gleened a lot from the Tin and Silver? post on here, but it was for horde guys. I understand the principle of different items in different areas for different levels, but where is a good place to get this valuable ore?

One of the handiest addons for mining is MapNotes Gatherer. Take a look on www.curse-gaming.com for it, whenever you mine a vein it's added to your world map (where you can filter what it shows), so you can revisit veins later on. All characters get it too.

Redridge Mountains east of Stormwind has a decent number of tin veins, you could look there for tin/silver.

This is my tin mining location, but I thought I could share it to help provide for my Alliance brothers.

West Fall, head to Gold coast Quarry. Inside this mine you'll find 4 tin viens. They spawn one right after the other. so just as soon as you've mined your last the first should have spawned again at that point. This is comming from the perspective of a level 18 druid that had to fight my way in and out the entire time. So if you do it faster your results will vary.

Jangolode mine in north Westfall has tin too. I make a loop of that, the quarry and the Deadmines. If you're bold or bring along some non-miner help, farm the instance for both ore and green drops. No competition for the veins that way.
