i have 6 stacks of 20 catfish (i forgot the real name) and im not sure how much to sell them for at the auction house. any and all help would be great thanks

Fish . . . don't sell. They may have been the basis of the FFXI economy . . . but nope. It's mostly just cheap pet food, sometimes you'll fish up a fish that's used in alchemy, but for the most part it's a free 6cp at the vendor. OR an efficient way to lvl cooking.

Actually... Those fish probably will sell, as they are a quick easy way to bring up low level cooking. Dunno what to suggest on a price however... I'd say... sell 'em for what you can get 'em for~ Or hang onto 'em and raise your own cooking^^;

My first suggestion would be to browse the AH and see if anyone else already has them up for sale. You could then place your items accordingly.
Another technique that I sometimes use is this:
When you place a stack of catfish on the AH, it will list a suggested starting bid. My experience shows that doubling the suggested bid gives you a good number to start with. Then double that number for your buyout price.
