Enchanting QuestionFollow

yea you can mail your drops to a alternate char, and disenchant those, that will get ya up to skill level 40 or so using only disenchant, then ya can start with some of the early stuff and start working your way up.

I had the same idea, and it works for a bit , then their is a catch. If you use a alt remember that you will hit skill caps based on skill level, so you have to level the alt too. i need to level my alt char(a preist)to 20 to uncap my skill.

The biggest problem ... i cant enchant my other chars stuff, since enchanting is a service rather than a tangable item they cant be mailed, but i can send my enchanter stuff to disenchant get the materials and strike a deal with a enchanter that can buff my stuff where i give them the materials and they reduce the cost or do it for free(usualy free with a guildie.)

To awnser the real question ... ya you can disenchant anything ... no skill level required. i have recived large shards form green lenses i sent my enchanter and she is only level 16, mailed the shard back to my hunter and used it as a trade for my wep enchant.

...But you need to remeber that some of the best enchants are from BOP, and to get shards for weapon enchants or other powerful enchants one usualy needs a weapon. This can easily aquired by solo a low lvl instant and killing the boss(s) for a drop that you will only use for disenchanting.
