I would like to just make a suggestion to the admins of this forums board.
I spend alot of time here and really enjoy one the topic (or most of them lol) and the people and the information that is so easily accessible. But for some reason or other maybe since this is a new forum or something but the Tradeskill section is not broken into specific Tradeskills Forums just a General one? I say have a General area for General Questions on Tradeskills and then sub forums for say each individual one like Blacksmithing, Herbalism, Alchemy, etc etc etc.
Just a suggestion I hope it helps!

This has come up on the Blizzard boards as well and has gotten alot of support. It would make it easier for people to check for topics on their tradeskill so they can see whether or not their question has already been asked and answered.

Ok now anyone know who to approach about this or how to get maybe a poll or some action done on something of this sort? I would not mind being involved either lol if you want help. Been a forum admin on too many forum boards lol.

The admins read the posts, so I am guessing we can wait and see or e-mail them directly. The other plus of seperate forums is that it takes off of the server load when people are having to search for posts all of the time or clicking through tons of posts.

I wouldnt count in it happening since these boards already tax Alla's servers and bandwith a ton but I would love to see it as well. If I might make a suggestion, add you idea with a link to this thread to this thread and you will have a higher chance of getting a response from the powers that be.
They do look at it all but more than likely it is a skimming look since this a huge huge databse and board system, your best bet is to put it somewhere noticable like the thread I linked above since I know for a fact that Alla and Illia both look at that one very often. They are very dedicated to this site and I would pay double what I do now for it.
