Hi, I'm a beginning Orc Hunter wishing to gain skils in mining and engineering. I was wondering where I could begin to start mining in Horde areas to gain proficency. Any help would be appreciated.

Mining spots are all over Durotan and the Barrens. Grab the trainer in Ogrimmar, put on Find Minerals, and run to the hills, literally. Ore seams are found on hills, in valleys and in caves.
