I scored a copy of the formula for this enchantment this morning for a decent price, but am looking to resell it to hopefully make a profit. I checked the average AH prices and it seems to tap out around 13g. People on Warsong sell this enchant for upwards of 100g, however. Could I legitimately sell the formula for something above the realm of 20g or is that just asking way too much?

I have sold at least 10 copies of this enchant, I sold at an average buyout of 6-8g. Its not a rare drop, probably like 1-100 to 1-150 will drop this enchant.

It's not the formula that makes this enchant so expensive, it's the materials... take a look at what the ingrediants are to make this enchant and u will see why enchanters sometimes charge 100+ for it, because that's what it costs. I priced out the materials on my server because an enchanter was willing to do it for free if I had the stuff, but everything came out to about ~90 gold... ouch.

My guildie got icy chill and it NEVER procs, and when it does, it lasts like 5 seconds, i will NOT get it because it sucks real bad (for the price).

Imo, Icy Chill is much more of a PvE thing ... specifically big boss mob PvE thing. Get a guild with 3 or 4 icy enchants working on a mob and you can safely say that it will be slowed 20% for most of the fight - a lot more useful than extra dmg enchants.

Also - 100g to cast this? That's crazy. Essence of water is pretty easy to get (like 2 an hour in Feralis) and as long as you have the alchemists with the trasmute, the air isn't much of a problem either. The shards and herb are very easy for a 60 chanter with a few friends as well.

I guess the only thing that would make it that expensive would be if you only have 1 or 2 alchemists with the recipe and they are gouging the market while they can.
