#1 Feb 01 2005 at 3:29 PM Rating: Decent
In the tradeskill area. There are two columns, one says green and the other says gray. Can someone explain to me what these are for and what they signify. Thank you in advance.

Spirish,

The color spectrum for worth of an item and its overall effectiveness / performance at the items level requirement from lowest to best quality are:

Grey - White - Green - Blue - Gold - Purple.

This is also the same order in which what quality will fetch the best price if selling through the vendor.

Here on Alla's in the trade skills area, Green and Gray are referring to skill levels. The skill spectrum goes:

Red - Cannot be made
Orange - Guarenteed skill increase
Yellow - Often gives skill increase
Green - Rarely gives skill increase
Gray - Never gives skill increase

Why only the green and gray values are listed, I don't know. When you're working on skills, you generally want to make yellow+ (preferably orange) stuff.
