To all those helpful Alliance miner's out there I need help. Where can a wee Dwarf Miner (level 21-22) find any Iron deposits that don't require me to risk my life in a lvl 35+ zone? Any and all help would be great appreciated. Thankyou!
I didn't find iron till late 20's. My first Iron Deposit was near the ogres in Duskwood. I also seen lots near .. wherever those chimeraes in barrens where.
There's a vein that appears as iron or silver up the hill to the right as you enter Angerfang Encampment in Wetlands. Head right as you enter through the gap nearest Menethil. Found it up 3 times now - 2 x iron, 1 x silver. Level 26/27 orcs there, so you may need to wait a couple of levels.
If you carry on to the top, there are a couple of lvl 28 orcs that sometimes have a treasure chest with them.

That node appears to be a random rare point. Ive had it be gold/silver/iron, however it is not very effecicient to camp one node, especially if it can spawn as a gold vein which you cannot mine yet.
Just focus on leveling first. I think iron can be found easily in stonetalon mountains when you are mid to late 20's.

Level first. You will spend so many hours running from mobs in these areas. Blizzard has done an amazing job of keeping crafting and lvling equal. I raced ahead only to hit major roadblocks. Besides, getting to 225 (or 250) is cool until you realize that oyu can't go any further until you hit 40 anyways.
Stonetalon mtns and Duskwood are some of the best areas for iron imo. 21-22 could get them, but you will be running half the time.
