Well, I've recently picked up first aid because I think it's a bit more fun than cooking, the ingredients are easier to find, and bandages heal me just enough to keep downtime to a minimum. Anyway, here are my questions:
1. Are there any more recipies that I can learn aside from the basic ones given by the trainers in Ironforge and Stormwind? I can't learn silk bandages until I'm level 150, and the best item I can skill-up on is already yellow at level 117 (heavy wool bandages). Am I missing something?
2. As I researched this skill, in hopes of not having to make a post, I came across some information on needing a book to increase the skill cap to 225. I'm alliance side and I just want to know how to obtain this book, what it is called, etc.
3. Are there any quests on the alliance side that I can do that grant new recipes?
Thanks for your time :-) I think first aid is an underrated skill, so I've had a bit of trouble finding good info.

I broke the 200 skill but for the life of me I can't remember where I got the book that allows you to skill up past 150.
However there are 2 (3?) books available in Stromgarde(sp) on the alliance side of the fortress that will give you Heavy silk and whatever the next one is, all are relatively cheap too considering the resale value of heavy silk bandages (80sp a stack).

Every cloth (linen, wool, silk, mageweave, runecloth) has to recipies (normal and heavy).
you will level on heavy wool until 150. It works. Then silk until 180, at which point you should go to stromgarde to buy the heavy silk tome, as well as the expert first aid manual. You could buy mageweave tome while you're there, but you won't need it yet. The person you buy it from is Deneb Walker

Wat about the horde side where can you get the book past 150 skill (heavy silk bandage) ?
