If ur a lvl 100 blacksmith you should be able to use tin and copper to make bronze. At lvl 100 you should be able to make a couple of things with the main ingredient being bronze. I wondered the same thing when i was a low lvl blacksmith and sold of a whole lot of bronze that i could have used later. So just keep that extra tin and copper until your a higher lvl smithy. :)

You can also sell them at the AH. Buyout price for a full stack of either is around 50s on my server. :)

well im 117 blacksmithing.. and ive been lvling off of the bronze leggings that require 6 bronze bars for about 10-15 lvls now.. so if you're trying to find ways to lvl up then bronze will come in handy.. and you need tin and copper for bronze.. which from my experiences.. is 123453245 times easier to find than silver is.. so thats my thoughts on what to use tin and copper for.. mine a ton of it and turn it to bronze..

Exactly. You can make Bronze and Silvered Bronze items. I have found that Patterned Bronze Bracers for the Alliance sell really well for 20sp ea. The next step up is Iron, then Iron + Coal (bought at the vendor) to make Steel. I also had a guildmember enchant my gloves with a +5 to mining just to help me mine anything I come across (enabled me to mine some Mithril, when otherwise I would not have been able to).

Silver and gold are pretty rare. If you see a vein of that, make a bee-line for it! Also, pay attention to the economy of your area. On Tichondrious, some price-gougers just starting putting up stacks and stacks of materials WAY under the market value. I was getting 60sp per stack for Bronze, now they sell for 40sp. They also started selling Patterned Bronze Bracers for 12sp!!! So it just hurts everyone else.

That is not price gouging. That is the free market. Price gouging is when you raise prices because people have no choice but buy the item. In this case this is supply and demand working at its finest.

I wonder, are there any recipes using tin as the main ingredient? I'm a lvl 135 blacksmith and Im almost through with all the bronze recipes ... no tin so far, except for smelting.

The only use for tin is to use it to make bronze. There are no recipes that use tin as a main component.

Hold on to any coarse stones you get, though. They're useful.

Coal is also a drop.

I know that it drops from elemental exiles in Arathi Highlands, particularly the fire ones, but it could drop from others as well.

These creatures also drop elemental air, fire, earth, etc., which well for a good price in the AH. I think one air went for close to 50s.

Just some FYIs.

I’d suggest you keep your mining skill as high as possible. When my rogue was about 37 he started selling mithril and truesilver, whenever he could find it, in the auction house. Though he also sold leather, it was the metals that paid for most of his mount at 40.
