I was wondering how you get above 300 in a trade skill, im currently at 225(im not lvl 35 yet), and i was looking on this site to find out what i can make later on, and it says that there r items that can be made for lvl 305, 310, and 315 i was wondering how you get to these lvls in tailoring, is there a quest or a book u have to learn or do?

as far as i know, that would be impossible, and 300 skill is max

I'm not 100% on this but i think your right about the 300+ patterns would require you to equip a +X to tailoring item like you need 300+ skinning to skin epic dragons

There is a pattern for "Mooncloth Boot" thats 300+, but I have yet to find out how to get my tailoring above 300 yet

The listings in the tradeskills have a "green" and "grey" stat - those are the levels at which the recipe goes green or grey in your recipe book, not the level at which you can actually create the item in question.

As far as the epic dragon skinning goes, the highest I'm aware that you can get skinning up to is 305 - max skinning is lvl 300, and an enchanter can enchant gloves to give +5 to skinning (Enchant Gloves - Advanced Skinning). There may be a drop-only glove or knife that gives a bonus to skinning in addition to that, but I'm not aware of them if they exist.

Tailoring patterns only go as high as 300.
You can make everything in tailoring at max skill.

I've read people who did the mooncloth boots thing, the requirement is that you have at least 300 tailoring to get the quest evidently. So basically you need 300 skill. You don't need more than 300 skill. Its a direct learn quest reward, as in you finish the quest for the bear and you have learned the boot pattern.

If someone said the quest/pattern was 300+, they mean you need 300 OR MORE skill to get the quest/learn the mooncloth boot making. 300 still gets it.
