Ok... is it just me or is this quest a real pain in the ***

You have to get 4 hearts of fire, 4 core of earth, 4 breath of winds, and 4 globes of water.

Well 4 breaths of wind wasn't so bad, the drop rate is good, just hard to get the mobs. Usualy foudn them while grinding otherthings

The others however.... 3 hours farming hearts of fire, and I only have 2. Luckly for me my guildies gave me 4 core of earths, and the fires, and 2 waters... so I only need 1 more wind and 2 waters... but sheesh... this is really harsh... plus the stuff sells for 5+ gold on the AH for each one.

So my question is.. I heard lots of the elemental stuff... you NEED these items to make them, and lots of them. So... are there higher level elementals (Like 55+?) that drop these at a decent rate? Or am I doomed to be stuck with harsh drop rates if I stick with this path XD

It may be just my luck but i went into maraudon, the back way, i.e. via the portal by the 1st khan. anywho, we killed the partrol of rock elmentals and i looted both times, core of earth. Now this may just be a fluke or something, but if you could solo the place you should be able to farm those. Rinse, reset, repeat. boom enough core of earth to make you a small forturne.
