Hia fexpc, give me a moment before I tackle your question.

There is something we call Necorposting and it is regarded as a poor idea. since the post you are trying to post to in this case is over two months old, you kind of Zombified it, brought it back from the dead, and honestly thats where it belongs. The reason this is generly looked down apon is that the info is old, WoW is a dynamic game, and things change, by bringing the thred back you essentaly misdirect folks who do not notice that it is a OLD post. You can note that this thred was started on April 23 of 2005, thats a long time ago, and the game has changed so much since then that it causes more harm than good.

On to the question.

So , lemme get this right , at lvl 40 my Tauren hunter can WEAR mail armor but continue to make leather oriented goods ?

Yup, yet it dose not take long to find out that leather working dose make some Mail armor, all of it is explained in the trade skill sticky(the one place you can necropost till your hearts content)

Alla is a wonderfull resource, and far more than just a online Froum, it has some amazing info for you, one example is This leather workingitem list It will help you find the cheapest way to skill up, and the most effective gear to make for you shaman.

If i could offer one point on your skill progression, stop leveling, start skinning. Level 40 is a tough nut to crack(worse on PvP servers), you will have a lot going on, lots of new skills to train, a new mount to buy and Mail, realisticly you will want your leatherworing arround the 210 mark so you can make some mail,(if you want to make it, buing some may be better). My point is that if you realy worked hard on skinning/leatherworking (more selling skins than leveling LW) you could have all you need to break in to the bold new world that is mail armor and life post 40(IMHO thats when the game starts to get realy fun)

Just wanted to say thanx for responding to my question , I really appreciate it ... Didn't realise about this being an ancient thread or what however ... I've only been playing WoW for about 2 weeks so , I don't mean to irratate by newbin' it . By the way my skinning is actualy up there pretty goood it's just the actual making of goods where I been slackin' ... Workin' on it though ... Thanx again for the advice.
