Where is the Expert Cooking book sold?Follow

I've been fishing up a storm and cooking said fish, thinking i could advance each skill easily. This is half true, but after spending 2 hours literally killing myself to get to Booty Bay at lvl 21, I was unable to find any cooking trainer. I found many fisherman, but alas, no cook.

Cooking is currently 150/150. Expert is next, right?

If you are alliance, its in Ashenvale. There is a small retreat SE of Astranaar I believe. Cant rememeber the exact name of the place, but if you look on your map there is a lake on it near Talondeep Path, thats where the place is, north side of that lake. You'll find the vendor with the cook book that will get you Expert.

I just searched the retreat near Mystral Lake.

Trainers - Alchemy expert, Herbalist, Hunter, Pet trainer, Skinner.

Merchants - Alchemy supplies, Trade Goods, Bowyer, Butcher.

One named NPC for a quest.

No cook or cooking trainer.

Could it be that I am not high enough level for the trainer to appear? In Darnassus the artisan trainer is there for leather working. Why would this one not be visible or present?

My skill is 150 so I am not even approaching Artisan level.
I am currently a level 26 Druid.

He is there, thats where i got it. I don't remember where he was in the village but he is there.

btw your not looking for a trainer. Your looking for a merchant, he has a book that you buy for 1gp.

Ok here is the exact info on the expert cookbook.

There is no trainer for expert cooking. You simply have to buy the Expert cookbook from a Night Elf merchant in the Silverwind Retreat by the name of Shandrina. She is located inside the retreat at the far end of the right side. The cost is 1 gold. Once you have the book simply right click it and it will bump your maximum cooking skill to 225. The book does NOT give you any new recipes. Sorry folks.

The Silverwind Retreat is located just north of Mystral Lake in Ashenvale. If you have that area uncovered on your map you will see a building on the north side of the lake. If you dont just follow the road south from Astranaar. It's about half way across Ashenvale as the road winds east. Then jump off the road and head south to the lake.

Easiest way there is to take a gryph from Auberdine to Astranaar and walk to Mystral Lake. It's an amazing walk through some very beautiful countryside. Hope this helps and enjoy.
