Hey all, very new to the game, only been playing for about 4 days. I picked up skinning and leather crafting figuring that would be very easy to skillup, and useful since i rolled a druid. Anyway, i got a light leather kit and i see it can permanently add 8 def to a piece of armor. as a noob i think this is cool, and would like to use it, but i have yet to figure out how. could someone explain to me how the leather kits work? are they as usefull as they seem? can i use it on any piece of armor? any help would be appreciated.

*Doh i read farther down and saw someone made a begining leather guide which answers this question in it...* any other leather crafting advice people have would still be appreciated though.

Just right-click the kit, and then left-click the armour you're putting it on. I can't remember exactly, but I think you can only use it on shirts, pants, boots and gloves. Well, the kit will tell you.

Not shirts, chest slot items. All the rest is correct. To my knowledge, shirts are mainly decorative (like tabards) but chest slot items are protective.
