New LS: Freelancer.Follow

Whoa Lupi did that happen the 2nd time around? No problemo curing you the first time around - as soon as I did it the 2nd time I had to log. ; ;

The 2nd time I did it, it was harder due to the AoE drain - was hard to tell people to stand back when everyone is bein' pushy.

In one hour I will be at home... with hopefully ffxi finished updating. (it seemed to be doing pretty good when I left for work so many hours ago).

I don't really care about the eBuddy, I'm more looking forward to the upcoming SummerFest. It will mark my one year anniversary of playing FFXI. =)

what level is bakura's whm karril? 1? i'm leveling pld and samurai at the moment. 10pld, 14sam. mainly to get rid of some equipment eating up space in my moghouse. once pld hits 17 i'll be done with it, unless we get something going with your mages then i'll continue on. just got my npc buddy tonight. i'm gonna make a post about it, fun times.

Latelly i have been looking for a LS that i think is apropiate to my style of playing and from reading the first posts in this thread i think this might be it.

For some times now i have searched for Karril in game and it seems we are always on at diferent times.

Currently i am a THF/NIN with THF36, NIN37, WAR19, WHM17, BLM8, RDM5. After taking Bonecraft up to 10 i am now thinking of getting my Bastok rank to 5 and get my license. If im not partying or doing something important i dont mind helping at all and would also appreciate any help possible from LS/FL people.

I would like to know if the great majority of this LS if from the US or if indeed there are a number of players from EU that would be on at the same times as me.

Also would like to know who besides Karril i could ask for a pearl.

Of course this post is only usefull assuming that i am the kind of player you would like to have in the LS, if not, then just forget about it.

I can give out pearls too. Congrats on the twins Hut =] you will be playing as much as me soon. Havint bin around much but u know how it goes, see you all later hope things are good.

Got the Pearl from Lupinia last night (well about 20:00 GMT). Waited for about an hour in the fields and no nothing so i went to Giddeus to get some Gil. Haven't bough and equipement for 5 levels and most for 8.

Been drooling about Genin Earings and not enough Gil for it.. i think, havent checked price.. lol...

In relation to the quest i think the main problem is Battalia Downs which i think the monument is underground with all the skelatons, otherwise i think i could do it no problem. Only have another 2 after that one..

Also got offered help to get my rank 5. /bow , maybe in the weekend...

For the Crawler's Nest Map, you don't need to do all 17 monuments, just 15 of the 17. This means you can leave out Batallia downs and Saurumogue Champaign. The Batallia downs monument is hard to get to because it requires at least a party of two to do. >< You have to go through Eldeime Necropolis, one person flips the switch to get into the room while the other person enters the room; then you drop down a grave and follow the tunnel up to the Batallia Downs island and the monument is there.

For those that need to do the quest, I'll be on tonight around 10:30pm CST and into the morning. (However, I want to do the swimsuit quest first).

Got really lucky last night (not what you're all thinking. ;) )

While harvesting heard Quilingford (?) saying on the LS he was gonna help some other player with his rank 5 mission so asked if i could tag along.

Got through the fights with the NMs in Beadeux and Castle Ostroza part. Only need to go back to Beadeux for the magicite and Davoi.

Hutea, we did that about at 22:00 GMT (its 11:00 at the time of this post) so if u can show up tonight we might be there around the dame time...just say something and im sure Quilingford wont mind another body there.

I was going to create a linkshell dedicated to helping others out. Until I saw yours here. And I thought wow cool this is exactly what I'm looking for, a caring linkshell, with good decent ppl, who want to help set a good example. They share the same sort of morals and values as me.

So I sent an email to Karril asking if I could join, he said we'd be happy to have you. And if you see others in game, I can get a link pearl from them and let them know he said yes that I can join. He suggested I post here so we can all get to know each other. Yay cool.

I think FFXI is the best game ever, but just like you I'm sick of
rude, mean, greedy ppl who are selfish and care only about themselves
and no one else.

I just emmigrated to Hades not long ago and I find it hard to ask ppl
to help me out on quests or missions, as I'm a very shy, loner type
person. And I've noticed how greedy and selfish ppl can be and often
wont help you unless it benefits them like you have to pay them
first. And I thought that's so horrible, what's the world coming to?
*sigh wheres all the good ppl?

I always like to help ppl when I can and I thought I'd start up a
linkshell dedicated to helping others in quests, missions, levelling
etc. for ppl in and out of the linkshell. Then I went to post it on
Alakhazam and saw your linkshell and I thought wow they have the same
sort of values as me. But then my boyfriend said don't worry we'll
start our own linkshell together, but nope he can't get the game now,
so don't want to start a LS without him.

But I would really love to join your linkshell and make a difference.
Your LS is exactly what I'm looking for.

I mostly just spend my time crafting and haven't been training as I
was waiting for my boyfriend to play. Anyway I've had bad expereinces
in parties, so I'm turned off joining parties. I just could never
seem to grasp parties and no one would bother helping to explain it
to me. Saying they didn't have time and say I'm not good enough :s
I just found it easier on my own. But you and your group sound
different. lol maybe you can help point me in the right direction.

On August 24th I'll be moving to New York, so from August 23rd until whenever I get internet, I will be unable to play FFXI. (Unless I can get on my friend's computer at his apartment). Just so you know, I'm not quitting FFXI and I will be back eventually.

I'm moving too! but thats b/c i'm going back to school. hopefully for the last time...
