Other Additional Info: Our shell is very successful. We have never failed a kirin, rarely do we lose a dynamis if we are going for the win. Sometimes we only go in to farm, this usually is when no one needs the win. We have around 30 members, and about 20-25 people at almost every event. Our shell understands the Real life > ffxi standard. If for some reason you have to miss a week of events, you will not be kicked from the ls because of it.

Additional Notes: This linkshell uses a Karma based system. Using the Latent Effect web site, players can donate Karma to each other. Each player starts with 5 Karma points. If you are helped by another linkshell member, you give them Karma. If you help another linkshell member, they give you Karma in return. If you have a lot of Karma, you get a lot of help. If you have no Karma, you get no help. The Karma system was developed to prevent players from jumping into a linkshell to get help then leaving only to return when they need help again. Using this system, all actions are traced, and if you are more helpful, it is easily apparent and quantified for all other members to see. Please see the web site for more details.

The following are minimum requirements for each member:

• Level 73+ Job
-- We often help others outside of our linkshell. We cannot be expected to help others if we cannot help ourselves. You must have at least one level 73+ job to join.

On-going Activities: mass Astral Burn XP chains, usually in Kor. Tunnel. We have occasionally done avatar runs and even summoner AF runs for members.
Other Additional Info: New linkpeals will be handed out late September, early October - these will replace the ones broken when one of our officers left the linkshell in late-August.

Induration has disbanded. I see a few other shells that have ended as well. mastercraft, thesynth, and stonedchocobos have been dead for a while now. As always, the top 4 shells of remora have been apathy, exodus, againstthegrain, and lovebananna(now voltage). Virtue and afv2 are around as well i assume, as i still see them occassionally. Apathy is invitation only unless they are in a recruitment phase (which isn't often).

Prometheus can be removed from the list of Linkshells as it has been a dead shell for a long time. Many of the founding members have gone on to end game, gotten hit with stupid bansticks that couldn't get reversed because Playonline are a bunch of retards. Or people quit for various reasons aka FFXI is dying out which is sad because it is an amazing game. Anyways just wanted to post that Prometheus is dead at least till FFXIV. I might try and bring it back with a few of the old members that I'm in contact with not sure though.

Also if anyone remembers me from Remora would be cool to hear from everyone again to see where everyone is going for XIV if they are getting it. My names on FFXI were Sykksmoke, Xorn, and Backlash. For those still playing GL with everything and take care. Peace.
