Something about this argument just strikes a chord with me and I can leave it alone, even though I know I probably should. Lets look a little closer:
The first thing one notices is that the text in the first pic is purple and the text in the second pic is pink. Why?
Second, I will re-iterate that Dave was correct when he stated that FFXI was released first in Japan. Whether Koder was arguing this point, or more specifically; which platform it was released on first in Japan is hard to say for certain.
Next, even though this is already a completely moronic argument, Koder states that he can't pull information out his (butt). Not that he would have to anyway, the information about FFXI's release date is readily available on the wiki or other creditable online sources. He certainly should go read this information for himself before talking about things he obviously knows nothing about. Especially before getting into an argument over it. It's not very hard to educate yourself in today's era of information technology.

What the heck does this even mean? I'm sorry, but I don' speak chimpanzee. However someone's name is spelled, that is the correct spelling-- I fail to see how this connects to anything you two were arguing about. What an idiotic remark.
In the next line, he says a terrible racist remark which I care not to repeat.
Even though I usually try to avoid this old cliche, this really does sound like something an immature child would say.
This kind of talk would not be considered acceptable in any on-line game. Not by the player-base, the developers, or even the on-line community.
My remarks regarding the rest of the conversation is pretty much a repeat of what I said above: sounds like something an immature child would say.
You still aren't off the hook completely though, Dave, as there still remains parts of the conversation that we are not seeing.
Avoid Koder, and at least take some comfort in knowing that I will as well. The immature and racist remarks; as well as the otherwise entirely flawed and incorrect statements he made is enough to make me want to avoid him like the plague.
Also, the block of "LOL" Koder posted in this thread is kind of funny. Turn your filters to sub-default and you should be able to see it.
Edit: Never-mind, I figured that one out myself. Party chat is supposed to be BLUE! :)
