Valefor - Kujata: Differences in WorldsFollow

The differences between countries and cultures has always been a fascination of mine, so I decided to start this thread as a venue to talk about what we notice about each other now that our worlds are combined. It can be anything- economics, social mentality, under/overcamped NMs, WG jackasses, whatever. I'll even start it out...

You guys have some crazy aggressive campaign players. Most of my friends said it was also one of the first things they noticed. I was just on for a few hours this morning and every wave of mobs were annihilated before ever getting within a stone's throw of the forts. I haven't seen happen since Campaign was introduced. We typically wait nearby the fort and rely on NPCs to help out. Occasionally people would grab a mob and pull them to a safe distance, but never terribly far away. What I saw this morning was a completely different dynamic than our old norm.

I've noticed there's a huge Japanese group playing, and only a hand full of Europeans. While certainly active on the server, they dont group together like they did on Kujata. I've been told there were no EU-based linkshells till the merge happened.

Meh, there were many "JP ONLY" on Kujata too. To be fair, in the two days I managed to only get 1 JP who was lfg to agree to pt and not the normal 2-3 that would agree - which is a bit shocking, as I would imagine the ratio to stay the same. Maybe the JP figure since there are 2X the amount of players (and JP players), they arent forced to either join a non-JP group OR lfg for hours on end while looking for a JP group and they can say JP ONLY?

Of course, it was only a one day sample on my part - get back to me in 3 months and I will be able to have a better grasp of it ^^

Well well well ex-surian, it sounds as if you should take the reigns and make an EU ls ^^ There are always people asking, I think you would be able to easily get people.

The bazaar's, they're actually neatly arranged along the walls in Ru'lude, nothing like the cluster@#%^ of our old Rolanberry. It's shocking, and really impressive. Everyone is out of the walking path, and in neat lines for easy browsing. Someone really gave the whole thing some thought.

The difference on our server I noticed is so many CoP shouts all of a sudden, shouts for Nation missions, and shouts for Zilart missions, where as before, hardly any were doing it. Crazy.

I beg to differ, Ru'Lude is far more convenient than any other zone.

Why? Imperial Silver piece warp puts you right by bazaars :P

I don't want to say none at all because Ballista really isn't my thing, but I haven't seen a game going on in ages.

There is a small one. I can think of about 6-10 people that enjoy ballista and will try to make the matches if they are at the right time. Mostly just uncap. Usually it takes someone or a few people to send out /tells to friends and others that you know like to ballista.

My in game name is Grozny, send me a /t in game and I'll /befriend you. I'll send you a /t anytime we are trying to make a game happen.

I have been in one ballista match since the server merge, it was 5v5 and a lot of fun!
