Kujata's HistoryFollow

Hey Guys,

Since Kujata will be no more - and since you may want to know our trials and tribulations - I decided to get together some points in Kujata's history. I asked my fellow Kujatans to write some of their memories as well. If you guys would like to know our history, feel free to read (if anyone posts)! Hopefully some people will mention things I forgot or never knew.


Linkshells
Description: Some of our linkshells. The ones I personally belong to are FaithOfTheFallen (Dynamis ls) which has been aorund since Jan 2006, which is still active to this day. Close to my heart though is ChaoticUnion, which is a social shell started in around March of 2004, reformed in late 2004 (because the leader quit) and is active to this day. In our hayday we would have 20-30 people on at a time but now its down to about 10 at any given time. I will surely be corrected if I am wrong, but its the oldest, continuous LS on Kujata. We hope to reform next month when we move, and if anyone wants in on a great social ls on Valefor, let me know!


Noteable early, powerful LSes: I dont have any links, but the first powerful one I remember is Illuminati. Also rising to the ranks early in the game's career was TheBlueCrew and PurpleReign.

Kujata Blacklist
Description: almost two years old, moreso a history lesson than a "beware" compilation. One of the first names mentioned is Dokaka - mention his name to any old head and they will instantly know who you are talking about.


Nova
Description: Nova was one of the first NA LSes on Kujata - and they used alla as a personal message board, so if you are interested in their history read the last 10 pages of Kujata's forums. My first year (I started in Jan 2004) I never got higher than 50, as I was way more interested in farming than lvling (although if you check my job lvls and merits that changed in mid 2005), so I didnt know much about Nova - although many people both liked and hated them. Anyhoo, Nova's leader (Darkhound) left for WoW and then came back last year - although renamed Darkhaund.

Demo
Description: Demo was a ls that moved to Kujata from Garuda in 2008 I believe. They were NOT well liked on Garuda and seemed to rub people the wrong way on Kujata when they moved here. There were many lulz. Last year their leadership dwindled by mostly leaving the game and they folded mid 2009, with most of their members leaving for Quetzy I think. The remainder made up a ls called MewMew.

Description: Not too well known, but a great story anyway!

Description: This guy was on Kujata years ago. He was banned for hacking (twice), but he was just a funny guy and was well liked despite the hacking. Watch the video, but pay attention to the last 10 seconds. The music combined with the two messages made me /coffeespit.

Lol. Its a shame I had my nose in farming for like a year when I started. It seems I missed tons of fun with the whole Nova thing- be for or against it, seems like it was some good times.

I really, really hope you guys bring some competent and not-full Einherjar linkshells.

I really miss playing this game. Leobardis still rocking this game hardcore word. Ill be back playing ffxiv day one mark my words.
