Just want to say a great big Congratulations! to me on finally beating PM 2-5 and 3-3. After what seems like, and may very well be, *years* stuck on this mission (2-5), I finally took down those twazzersticks last night. Special thanks to Kagomesama, Garfield, Damie, Errtu, and someone else who's name starts with a D. I can't remember your name but you know who you are, thanks a bunch for helping people with missions even though you don't need them. Another special thanks to Skeye for helping us climb that mountain, and even staying to help me back up after I fell off like a complete n00b. His advice, "Don't pull your hair out if you fall off the mountain," is something everyone on this mission should take to heart. My advice to anyone on these or other CoP missions: Don't be afraid of pick up parties. You can meet some really cool and great people if you step outside of your circle of friends. Anyway, just wanted to say thanks and lets kick the snot out of Diabolos' bony heiny!

CoP is great. It was really challenging and I had great fun doing it. I honestly can't say I have had more fun doing other things in the game. Infact nothing compares to CoP.
ToA missions are just pathetic, and I can't honestly see them getting any harder. Infact I think the storyline of the ToA missions is pretty crap aswell, it seems that it is a different person who writes the scripts now, and I personally think they are terrible at it.
They use annoying shortened words the whole time that are difficult to read, and they have no comic timing at all. (If you want an example of the annoying script writers they use now, just go talk to the chocobo hot and cold NPC, it will make your eyes BLEED)
Anyone else prefer CoP like me?

I loved the CoP storyline, and it had a fuckton more of a challenge than ToAU.. even if I 1/1'd it.

Congratulations! CoP storyline is possibly the best storyline the game has at the moment. As difficult as the missions are, they're well worth it. Good luck with what comes next!

I feel your pain on 2-5 took me so many tries to get past that damned mission but the CoP missions and storyline are actaully pretty fun if you don't let their difficulty get to you. Find astatic if you can and by the end you'll be so glad for the experiences that get you into sea.
So many people complained that CoP was too hard so they made ToAU easier, but I think they've made them too easy. It is however interesting to see how all of the stories relate to one another.
