No mining pointsFollow

New to the game. Decided to try the mining. Got some pickaxes and went to Zeruhn Mines. Bought the map and even found a map with mining points. Have not seen one mining point running around for over 2 hours and not a soul in there. Is there something I'm missing?

There should be 2 up at pretty much all times. In case you're coming from other games, mining points are something you can only see by targeting them. There's nothing about them that look different or that pop out at you.
