So, if and When I get Dnc to 75...Follow

What am I going to do? I've heard very mixed things about Dnc and Endgame. What can a Dancer really do at Endgame? We aren't DD, and we need TP to do stuff, which makes a lot of players very wary to have a dancer go toe-to-toe with a God or something.

Regardless, once I spend enough time in endgame land, it'll be time to pick up a new job.



Now, the first two I want to level to 37 for endgame stuff, primarily for thief's SaTa comboed with dancer's Building and Wild flourishes, could do some major damage, not to mention I already have pretty decent gear for thief. And from what I've heard, Dnc/Sam is very popular, primarily due to the Tp build.

I've kinda always wanted to level Blu, but I'm turned away from it mainly due to me having to "Camp the AH" for its AF, as I've done twice already with Pup and Dnc. Not that fun, I would rather go coffer searching.

Honestly, I'd focus on getting 75. You've done this before with a job and need to stop getting ahead of yourself.

Whaods, this is the beautiful thing about Final Fantasy XI. Once you get to 75, you're not obligated to engage in any end game!
What's more, if some things interest you and others don't, you can totally just find a group or groups that do the activities that you want to do!
Not all the people involved in it are cut-throat SERIOUS BUSINESS players either. Well, except for HNM groups. That sh*t is serious business onry.
Then again, you can dive head first into it and kiss your out of game life good bye! The plus side, of course, is that you'll have REALLY NICE gear.

I wouldn't want a DNC in any endgame activity, honestly. I'm an elitist prick though, so my opinion doesn't count.

I really just hate DNC in general. When I was leveling PLD I think their goal was to full cure me every single time I tried to get a cure 4 off on myself for hate. They also feed the mob unnecessary TP when a mage could do the same thing without.

Seems like a fun sub job for solo activities though. SAM/DNC with soboro would be pretty sick.

Get on Sam and level with Tierona and I, she just picked up Brd so I may start Pld for extra fast party making.

I heard that Drgs were Endgame sluts too.

What about mnk? I'm considering it, but I think there was a mass wipe of them. I honestly haven't seen a mnk in months.

Honestly, if you want to do endgame just get a 75 and join a sky or dynamis shell. Try it out.

If you like it, see what the shell needs and try that job, if you hate that job see what else the shell needs and level that instead. Some people have fun doing what they want others have fun having success.

Level what you find fun, you'll find that some jobs just suck at certain events (or at least with most tried strategies with said events). If you find you want gear from one event that your job sucks at its easiest to just get a job that is desired for it and be done with it.

I highly recommend being versatile, level a healing job, level a tanking job, level a dd. You will be able to do more things without being at the mercy for waiting for a shout in a pick up or just doing things with friends (like say nyzul) you can rearrange a run and get any random pick up person and be successful.

OBJECTION!!!! Whoads, finish the DNC already so you can lvl BST!!!! who needs endgame anyway?
