Although its kinda dead it's usually very flame free and I don't wanna be the cause of that changing. I also read the feedback forum alot, hell I read the Oot too.
Either way, at least this post got me to post again I haven't had a reason to in awhile.

Yes the quote is insightful/philisophical/etc. I do understand the point of it, I just can't stand atheism. Just like many can't stand us Christians.

Yes I am a Christian, therefore I believe in one God so an atheistic viewpoint is offensive to me. But who cares, Christians offend many other religions/sects/etc. so we are certainly not blameless. But that is mans fault, not Gods. Unfortunately, He takes the brunt of the flack, if you will.

Oh and one more thing. I forgot to see if I said this before (I'm way too lazy to look), but religion is man-made. Actually, at the core of it, Jesus spoke against the organized religion of the time.

I think that man pollutes and corrupts the very word and reputation (if you will) of God through wars, fights about interpretation, etc. that is just sad really.

That's the essence of religion. Unfortunately it doesnt need to be that way but mankind will always fight on what means what and the like.

I know what you mean about the proof thing. Unfortunately, so much comes down to faith and faith is not science for the most part.

However, there are many reasons as to why Jesus did exist and was who he said he was. I myself am a man of science (I'm a physician) but still believe that there is overwhelming evidence that he existed and wasn't created by man.
Read this book if you want both a very interesting read and are skeptical. It's about a very learned journalist from Chicago who took it upon himself to investigate (as a journalist would) all the claims and evidence of Christ via interviewing skeptically major professors, teachers, etc. who are renown theologists AND scientists. The book is called "the Case for Christ". Being a doctor, I especially find it interesting the part where he speaks to a physician talking about cardiopulmonary edema (heart and lung excess fluid) after the flogging. That my friend is a case of science being in the bible, even though they didnt know why it was back in the day. Very very fascinating stuff.

Also, check out this website. It is a very scientific approach to quantum physics, the universe, etc. in discussing biblical ideas... it is

If people want to debate scientifically, I can go all day on the subject (of a higher power which is God specifically). I do not think science is the end all be all though. There is too much that science cannot explain (nor will it ever) even though we are locked into a physical universe - it's not a 100% scientific universe (Einstein's laws of relativity attest to this). Science itself then can become a religion (one could argue), no? The problem with putting all in science alone is that there is no beginning point (and science needs a starting point... always) to randomly put anything in motion. Whatever scientific system a person might believe to put everything in motion, there has to ALWAYS be something before that. If one argues that there is nothing before that, well then we have a case of something coming from nothing. That doesn't happen when you use science alone. It's like you said how the universe is too perfect to be random -- that's a lot of what they touch on in that reasons.org website. Go there now!! Lol. You'll like it.

Anyway, this thread it way off topic, but who gives a crap - people are barely posting on this board anyway.

The titan forum is slow and dead, so who cares if we stray off topic for a bit?!

If you do, then I feel very sorry for that.

As far as rate ups/downs, there also are much more important things in life to focus on than this, lol. But I guess until you finish high school, life is pretty mundane and easy, right? Until then, you can focus on rate-ups and downs being an important factor in life.

Sorry George for making a false assumption. Obviously, I have missed the original point of this thread being that I was not here originally to be in the midst of the 'fighting' or whatever.

Anyway, about the karma thing, I don't quite understand it and have mostly not cared b/c I read 99% of the time and post 1% of the time. 75% of the time people are harping on the rating system and all which becomes a distraction unfortunately.

I think that my rating went down, for the record, when I posted a "l0l pup" as a subject in the pup forums awhile back. I don't think that went over too well. I was trying to...flame (to use forum speak) I guess b/c I was probably in a bad mood that day or something... I mainly wanted to see how quickly they'd react to it and they did. Funny stuff. I can care less about PuPs anywyay, just wanted a reaction.

Okay, that's my .02 for the day.

P.S. WTH??!?! I put in that l0l pup stuff using an "o" and it automatically put in "I'm a moron" in place of it. I had to use a zero. What is going on? Is there no freedom of speech on alla?!?!?! That is entirely messed up!
