Halloween! Please in this thread talk about how to get the items from the npcs. Atm I keep getting the costume and Im wondering how do I get the pumpkin hat?

I was able to acquire the Pumpkin Head 2 by trading a Skeleton looking figure, forgot the exact name, an Apple Pie in Northern San D'Oria.
I've tried Baked Apples, Sweet Baked Apples, Thundermelons and Watermelons in Northern San D'Oria afterwards for the Staff but with no luck.
I'd be interested in learning how to get the Horror Head and the two versions of the Staff.
Any info would be appreciated.

I'm currently 7/720 (might be more. I stopped counting how many stacks of saruta oranges I bought)
Just continually trade to the NPCs. With these numbers I think you ahve a 1% chance of getting an item.

Have recieved Pumpkin Head II, Trick Staff II, Trick Staff, and Treat Staff so far. All of this with 10 stacks of Grapes. :D I have found that N. Sandy NPCs like to give more than S. Sandy... >>; Good luck to you all and have a great Halloween! ^^o
Took me about 16 stacks of Saruta Oranges to get my Pumpkin Hat and my Trick Staff II. Gotta love Warp!

I have been pretty lucky so far. I havent traded much, and got back
pretty good at this point. First trade was a Faerie Apple to a Bogy type NPC, and got Trick Staff (the lower one). I traded a Yugudo cherry to a Dark ELF NPC and go nothing, traded one to a bogy npc and got nothing, then traded a yugudo cherry to a Ghoul type npc and Got Pumpkin Head II. :)

From my findings its completely random, I traded exclusively Yagudo Cherries, and in a 3 hour period of time I got
Trick Staff - 3 times
Pumpkin Hat - 1 time (My inventory was full ; ;)
Trick Staff II - 5 times
Treat Staff II - 1 time
Pumpkin Hat II - 2 times
Horror Hat II - 1 time
Jack-O'-Lantern - 6 times
I found that after about 2 hours, the rate of getting an "item" dropped of greatly, so I'd advise zoning every so often.
What I did - I basically did what "Real" people do when trick or treating, I made a route to every costumed NPC and traded them 1~2 sweets and then moved on. The first time I tried the event I traded a total of ~12 stacks of Cherries to the same NPC and only got Trick Staff II, so no constantly spam trading to the same npc is not a good way.

Heheh...720 oranges? Try giving them seomthing else^_^ The SE press release said that the NPCs would be very upset if they kept getting the same item ;)
I got Trick Staff II and Treat Staff II within 24 trades. I did melon pie, ginger cookies, sandy grapes and saruta oranges, trying hard not to give the same npc the same item.

I have so far collected the Pumpkin Head II, Trick Staff, Treat Staff, Trick Staff II, Treat Staff II and 10 Jack-o-lanterns.
Cost me about 20K gil to get them, and I have tried to get the Horror Heads spending an additional 10K Gil to no avail ; ;
Oh well maybe better luck tomorrow!
