I think this thread is a good idea, it's nice to maybe have a heads up on a player you may not want to party with. As far as people I don't recomend playing with only 1 person comes to mind right now and I think his name was legalus (not sure on spelling it's a very common name thanks to the Lord of the Rings), but anyways about a month ago when i was in garlaige citadel he would train a ton of bats, beetles, and undead up about every 10-15 minutes and needless to say he was not that popular there. Anyways thats it for now see you all in game.

I have to add another person to this list and that person is Gooding...

He is a ok BLM but an a$$ with no respect. I was invited by this guy to pt in Crawler's Nest and im thinking great an xp pt. So we get there and there is a train of crawlers (Rumbler, Soldiers, Workers) at the entrance. Well i get through and wait pay attention so that i can tell the pt to come in when its safe, i also spot a stray Tough Rumble Crawler so i say we can take it once they get through. So they finally get through and this BLM casts Freeze to pull the Crawler >.< We end up killing the crawler pretty easily which wasn't that bad though. We end up going to camp to pull Helm Beetles which is where i get pissed at him.

So we are chaining Helm Beetles pretty slowly cuz of competition and Gooding keeps examining me, btw im playing THF, i also notice how he keeps getting too much hate so it makes it hard for me to SATA on the PLD. Well after about 30 min i /huh macro him cuz he is examining me again. He then says that he is talking to a THF friend of his about my equip cuz my SATA + Viperbite was weak. I was like wtf... and so was everyone else in my pt. Needless to say i know i have good equip and i was doing 400+ on IT+ Helm Beetles with that combo, and everyone in the pt told him to mind his business and stfu. Because of his big mouth our RNG Subzeroninja (i think thats his name dropped the pt) i did right after and go tells from everyone saying sorry because they've heard of his stupidity before and that he is blisted by several LSs. So becareful of this idiot Taru BLM called Gooding. Hmmm, everyone hates Aris...but I'm not adding her, and she is not the only one there hunting coffers that they dont need. I have also heard that if you actually stop and ask her she will help to get you a coffer. Thfs have it easy with opening coffers, so please dont complain when you run into a little trouble with one, every other job has to hunt keys you dont, so be happy all you have to do is wait for a spawn. All Aris is trying to do is make money, half the server would do what she does if they could.
By the way, please dont wish for people to die, that is rude and uncalled for.

Whatever you say chotaru. Then she needs to train her accounts herself instead of Violating the TOS by buying them. She is also selling her gil and that is a fact. I know if for sure.

I have no sympathy for aris. And no not everyone on our server would do it if they could.

I would'nt. If anything I would hunt solo Mono y Mono and only take what I needed. Instead of paying my bills by it.

I also don't literally want her to die so quit being a sobbing sally.

Mmmmm Taru named Blister you can add to questionable. I was in Sand'oria and needed a tele, and he tells me he'll give me one. So I invited him to party and went to go find him. When I got to him he asked me for payment. I found this odd so I checked him... to find he was a lvl 4 thf.

After that I exchanged a few words with him, more or less telling him that if he's going to try and pull something like that, don't do it with me and make sure that he's anon.

After that he started following me around everywhere, sending me /tells and kept asking for money. Couple minutes later I /blisted him.

That was a couple weeks to a month ago, so I don't know what lvl he is now or what job.

Theifs don't have it that easy on coffers. A friend of mine was hunting for his AF coffers for 3 days straight. He'd either get weakened or die from a mimic. He still hasn't gotten it yet.

I too have had a bad encounter with Blister, but i have also had a few good ones.



All rank missions's i've done have been with my LS. Except the 5-1 mission which i have now done 11 times :P I spend about 80% of my time on FFXI helping people and most of the people that have helped me are ones that I have helped (or friends of people i have helped) in the past.

And hey thanks alot. I also wanted to add that As soon as I got to 45 I hunted both my boots and pin. I did not level again till I got them.


To bad I am retired now. I kinda miss it.

Gooding you admit being an ass and try to defend yourself and on top of that you are the first and only person to complain about my dmg and my equipment. As for being too caught up into myself sorry i wasn't, I think you were too caught up into me. If you could actually play as a good BLM maybe my 400+ dmg would be consistent. After looking at Rennings posts I remember how you were taking hate off of the puller before i could land my SATA, and you wonder why my damage wasn't that high sometimes.

In any case you need to stop paying attention to what damage the THF is doing in your pt and pay attention to handling your spells correctly (i.e. Pulling with Freeze, Taking hate from the puller before SATA on the tank). I've played with plenty of BLM in the same pt and i've never had that problem. Last piece of advice if you are going to be an ass go take your crappy BLM skills and play a different game because if anyone is like me i'm not gonna take that crap from you or anyone else in this game.

Oooooo, nice warping :) You really did a number on my post there. Anyways, you're even going back on what you said. At first, you said pulling with freeze wasn't that bad :P Which it wasn't. It was an EM soldier crawler when there was naught a beetle to be found. So I believe I can joke around if I like to :) It's funny how you didn't "remember" that it was me until someone else said it was. Anyways, I have plenty of friends that know me, accept me, and have no problem with me. Sounds like you're the one with the problem. Besides that, I'm paying my own money to play this game and not breaking the ToS, so I believe if you don't like it, you can go kiss off ^^ Have a nice day.

Anyway, I wanted to add Neodolph to the noteable list. I was just camping Golden Bat. He managed to get it before me when it popped. He says he didn't get the drop, and I have no reason not to believe him, but either way, afterwards he said he would have given the cape to me, and as compensation, handed me 10,000 gil! Wow. Too kind. My time wasn't wasted and I have money for that blasted Shihei now! :D Thanks Neo!

Well then we finally agree on something ^^ Anyways Cho, it doesn't really bother me that I'm on the questionable list, I still consider you a friend, because you personall know better :) I just think it's odd people tend to never look at the good you do and only at the bad. Oh well.

As a 45THF I estimate (and this is an approximate figure very close to the mark) that all my exp gear combined, including Leaping Boots, is worth a total of 550k. What would you say about a guy (same job, same level) whose gear is worth 1/3 of that yet who has camped over 3 million gil in NM drops in the last couple weeks? Where do you suppose that gil is going? Is this any of our business as a community?

But I would just like to say watch out for Vatasha. I was in the dunes the other day leveling my drg when I wasn invited to her pty. One of the members noticed we didnt have a warrior in the pty to tank so he offerd to leave the pty so she could get a war. Now Apearently this pissed her off. She asked me to be tank and I said ok. Now for those of you that dont know, DRG is not good at taking damge. halfway through the fight Im in the red, so the sam(hes thw one who offered to leave) vokes off me and starts taking damge. Vatasha is the whm btw. No cures coming from here at all. the Sam gets down to red and boom Vatasha disbands and at the same time the sam goes down. She then sits there luaghing at his dead body for a few minutes.

oh yeah for notables I would have to give props To Sanuzi(whm) and Risca(mnk) they are allways willing to help.

Oberin and Morrolan are definitely Notable.

Armas is very unnotable.
