BAH I am a terrible typist!! >< (topic title)

Hello-
Now, why do I want a static? Well I am tired of playing with people that can't play thier roles.

Requirements:

Party 1 night per week (usually Thursdays around 7 ish eastern)
Decent Equipment
Use food ALWAYS.
Most essential spells/abalities

I do not want to level in over crowded/trian/laggy popular leveling spots. Out of the way, no one around, is where I want to go.

I do not want to level every night! 1 day a week is fine. We all need time to work on other jobs, craft, real life, etc.

Our party isn't set yet, and we may even be able to accomidate a few "subs" if you are interested in joining us sometime please let me know.

Thanks again for being interested in a static. I am generally online from 5PM to 11PM eastern weekdays and odd hours on Weekends.

Im still holding at lvl 42RDM waiting for you guys to catch up I should be on-line more starting this week Ill try and find you in game Fng. I should have my WHM and BLM subs both lvled by the time you guys are ready so I will be a little more versatile for what the party needs. Well anyways keep me posted.

Well let's pick a start date.. (YAY Finally) do to some vacation time.. the best day for me is going to be:

Monday 23rd of August 8 PM (Eastern) (please post if this is a good time) if you are West coast we can move that back a bit. But I want to be done at Midnight.

I have 2 camps picked out.. just need to do some Recon on exact camp spots.

Ok, if we have more than 6 people that are interested, please do not be discouraged if you don't get picked.

Party will be 38-39 (I am 38 1000 TNL ---> 39)

We will be stopping at Midnight Eastern regardless of TNL numbers. For those that are 40 + we will be including you next session.

If you have any special food requests please let me know (60 cook) I can bring them or if you bring the ingredients I will synth them up for you.

Sorry no reply till today, just got back from vacation.

Monday night is going to be a catch up night. We are going to catch up to the level 40s so we can include them in the next round.

So far we have confirmed:


Me: 38 WHM/BLM
Lexington: 36 DRG/WAR
Elderon: 36 THF/NIN

Thinking of hunting Dahmels in Altep.

Skin, Drihorn, Storm, JDK, and anyone else interested, wanted to limit this to just people sub level 40. If you are still below 40 please let me know. This way we can get into one cohesive level range.

Next party will be on the weekend, and *hopefully* will be 40-41 or so....

Again if you dont feel you can wait, want to xp more often than we do, or just plain don't like us :P it is no worries.

Did some recon last night... Posting this more for my reference)

Dahmels are anywhere from VT to IT ++ and the Anticans near the Rabao entrance are IT+ ; Spiders are EM to T

Antican's are Ranger type (special moves: AOE silence and spike ball)
Dahmels are beasts (special moves: Healing wind = Cure 3, and double/triple attack)

Both are weak to Wind so skill chain should be Fragmentation or Detonation. MB of Aero 2 or Thundaga

Mob chain order... Dahmel > Dahmel > Spider > Antican > Antican

Dahmels first since they have that "Healing Wind" which can really lengthen a fight.

i got 2k into 36 last night. Not quite as far as I'd hoped, but if we can make it through one night, then I can get a pickup party or two this week to get an extra exp boost so we're closer together level wise next time.

Im glad that things went semi-well for the party, I hope to have my subs fully lvled by the time you guys reach lvl42. Just keep us posted on the progress I should be available just about any night of the week my school schedule isnt as bad as i thought it would be. Oh yeah and the AF questing sounded like a good idea ^^ well anyways thats all i had to say and now i have to go to class.

Just curious as to whether there are still plans to meet up again. I'm just 1500 shy of 41 right now, but I hope to have it before the weekend hits (I just can't wait any longer for Refresh :p ). Anywho, I'm still interested if anything is still going to take place.

That sounds like a good idea.
Though in practice, its very hard to even 3 people together to party on a regular basis. But I am open to trying anything once.

I am on a business trip until labor day weekend. So I am unable to sign in and play till then.

We had a great party on Thursday or Friday. (forget which one moving apartments makes your mind mush) it was Me, Lex and Loth.

We picked up a MNK, WAR/NIN and a THF/NIN. The MNK didnt believe that Miths were worth the gil (wtf?) and the WAR/NIN used a total of 20 shiehi (spelling) in the 3 hours we partied.... It was fun we moved out to Beetles yay they were fun.

The THF did a wonderful job (I forget his name)

Hey I hollered at the other static. I am trying to get serious about leveling my warrior. I am happy either doing Trick duty or full on tanking. I believe in being totally updated at all times and am very good at my job.

45 Galkan Warrior/thief/ninja/monk.

Let me know. I can wait. But yeah I would like to find a dedicated group that would like to level once or twice a week. Just enough time to get a level or 2 and plenty of other time to farm and craft and fish.

I am really interested.

I am also really flexible with my playtime schedule as I work for myself and find I have alot of freetime.

Oh by the way. I have been using a G axe on my warrior at all times and I leveled my Hand axe as high as it will go solo. It is sitting at level 90 or so. I figure it should skill up quik.

Anyways.


Oh my genkai 1 is complete and I also have a 50 thief as well. So I can help out with coffers and whatnot and Genkai items when the time comes if you need em.

I am a really nice guy and would love to get into a static. Warriors are totally underrated. Please give me the chance to show you what I can do.

Almost there Styles ^^

Last nights Results.

Party was SAM, DRK, RNG, PLD, WHM (Me), RDM (Loth)

Everyone had the Altep gate crystal so that was a Bonus!
Again Chain 3 and now pulling a couple 4's out of the bag as the beetles are starting to get VT and T. Nice chains for some good xp.

PLD did a great job holding hate through a Benediction. I was very impressed.. as I kept spamming [Invincible] Please. Just a Cover was all that was needed^^ We split up after about 5k xp.

I ended up in a pick up party to catch up a level as I am behind one to Loth. Party started with 6 then the WAR and PLD had to go after about 20 mins of xping. (huh?) Some slower xp as we were a bit too high for the area.

Anyways, we were left with MNK, MNK, BLM, WHM we figured why the heck not continue! On T and VT bats in Gustav couple of chain 2's with only 4 people was decent xp and hella fun. Finally got to 42^^

Should be back it next Thursday, probably level 43-44.

Sorry for late reply my PC at home is still in pieces from my recent move.

Usually it's just Loth and I looking for people. I have a RL friend who is a SAM that wants to show up for these parties.

I think we try will try beetles in quicksand caves next. Thursdays are the day we meet up. Range is going to be 42-43

Lexi was there for a few but has out leveled us. We have out leveled Elderon as well.

And I too am happy to be done with my AF1 w00taru! My MP = 600/600 w/o food!!!! Holy MANA Batman!! (sorry to seem be showing off. I Just love the fact that I have broken 600 MP and done with AF1. Thank you TLW (My awesome LS) for helping!!)

I'll help you in K tunnel, and some LS friends that are leveling alchemy. (need to get my bard static to take a break :P)

We can farm some o those slimes while we are at! (used for alchemy 20-25)

We are not heavy levelers so he may out pace us quickly. (but we'll use and abuse him for a level or two :P)

Tho we are chain 5 and ever seeking the elusive chain 6^^
