Actually they are letting anyone who comes back reactivate long deleted characters as long as you have your playonline ID

I was thinkin about trying 14 when it came out myself, lots of familiar faces here.
Just hope its not the sadomasochistic grind fest the xi used to be.
I know they've made alot of improvements in xi since I've left with the level synch and what not, more instanced content, I just hope they remember their previous mistakes and dont repeat them with a new game.

FFXI had some flaws, still think it was most fun MMO i have ever played. Those grind fest lvling sessions were fun when u met interesting people. Do not think there is much they need change. Maybe make soloing easier and not make it take more than 3 months to get certain jobs to max level.

Finally decided to pre-order FFXIV. Look interesting enough to get into and not as much party dependent and less time consuming. Do not have crazy amounts of time to play anymore, but can't seem to pas this game up.

Wow, I guess I'm a little late replying to these forums.
It's Acaria or Avara, whatever people knew me as. A WHM that used to be in BlackRoses a long time ago. I thought I'd come by the forums because I was feeling a little nostalgic. I hope everyone's doing well, I really do miss this game! It's nice seeing old familiar names. :)
