I'm not entirely sure how to best go about saying this so I'll keep it brief.

To all those who knew him and were friends with him, Marquez, real name Nick Lewis, was killed tragically in a motorcycle accident several weeks ago. I initially found this out via posts on his Facebook wall, and verified that this did occur with a close real life friend of his.

Marq was a truly amazing friend to game and shoot the breeze with. Helpful, genuine, and always humorous, Marq turned the longest days on FFXI into the most enjoyable I have had.

Thanks for everything Marq. You're already missed. RIP.

wow. just wow.

i swear 2 weeks ago i was thinking to myself i haven't heard from Marquez and his ghettoness. but wow i didn't expect that. even tho he got on my nerves and im sure i did his. i think our respect was mutual

i thought he was cool in a wierd way.

r.i.p Marquez i will defiantly miss your ass.

OMG...we were in the same ls for a long time like 3 some odd years ago, trailblazing to 75. We were good friends. I'm returning to the game after a brief hiatus and this is the first news I get...wow I can hardly believe it.

RIP Marq only the good die young. :(
