Weird player experience in JeunoFollow

Okay, two days in a row now, the split second I zone into Lower Jeuno, I get two tells, back to back from some guy named Taikeshi (or something very similar). He's a 20WHM/7BLM who wears fishing gear and other various low-level gear while standing around Jeuno.

He sent: "hello can I borrow 3-20kgils please"
second tell: "i need weapons and armor for my trip to {Jeuno} please"

First time he did it I blew him off (while making the humorous observation that he's already -in- Jeuno). Yesterday when I zoned in, he did it again, word for word, exact same tells within SECONDS of me zoning in. I sent him a reply this time saying, "No, go earn your gil like the rest of us."

When I mentioned this to my Linkshell, a lot of them chimed up with "Hey I got that same tell from that guy too!".

Is this some kind of really weird-ass new begger bot or something?? Anyone else run into this?

This happened to me, word for word the same. It's gotta be at least a macro... Possibly a true bot. I wonder if anyone has reported him to a GM?

I'm headed to Jueno tonight, will stop by to see if I get the same. If I do, I'll open a trade window and give him.....

Hehe. Oddly, A bot will probably say "Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!" where as if it is a real person ill get some colorful tells.... I'll let you know.
