My chocobo is 26 days old and its stats are still poor, has anyones stats changed? Also I never put my chocobo on rest and fed it every day from the day it hatched 2x daily. When I went to check it yesyerday it was asleep and the npc said it was starving and told me I couldnt feed it til it woke up has this ever happened to anyone else where their chocobo never awoke? Can a chocobo actually die? Also my chocobo was in excellent health and extremly happy but I dont understand why its sleeping. I never fed it worms only greens that the npc recommended and vomp carrots.

My chocobo has both substandard Discernment and Receptivity. I make it "Exhibit to the Public" everyday. I feed it Azouph greens everyday and once in awhile a Zegham Carrot. Mine went to sleep for like 3 days once but it woke up once I put it back to Basic Care. I'm guessing yours probably went to sleep because you have never put it to rest. It's possible that it got fatigued or really tired. I put my choco to Rest once every 5 days because I figure it needs to sleep at some point. lol

My chocobo is 19 days old and has never been sick. I did set some care days to rest so it could heal. It was patient most of the time and good for package carrying but a few days ago it became ill-tempered and suitable for military use. It's still happy to see me etc so all I noticed was the change in personality.

What I did was walk it 1~2 times a day, I feed it random greens and 1 Vomp Carrot.

I heard from some ppl that the chocobo can die yeah...

About the option 'rest':

3 weeks ago i chosed 'rest 1 day' and it was sleeping for more than 5 days.
The hp of the chocobo was @ the fourth day at 0 and the Chocobo was very hungry but it didnt awake.
The strange thing was, all options i maked for after the 1 day rest like "take a walk in town 1 day, walk outside (short) 1 day" he all did.
Example, when i clicked on the npc i saw a CS that the npc and DunklesDandy were walking in town but when CS was over it was still sleeping.
Then i heard from a friend Ripco that his Chocobo died O.o
He had the same problem so i logged off and did go to the playonline website for a live chat with a GM.
This was our conversation:
SEL Agent Reinaldo: Hello Joseph

Joseph Meurs: Hello, i have a little problem

Joseph Meurs: 6 days ago i set the chocobo plan to sleep for 1 day

Joseph Meurs: now 6 days have past but its still sleeping

Joseph Meurs: it dont wake up anymorew

Joseph Meurs: anymore*

Joseph Meurs: how can i wake it up?

SEL Agent Reinaldo: Well this is an in-game issue; you need to contact a GM or
to send a bug report; I can't help you with these kind of query I'm afraid.

Joseph Meurs: so i have to ask this while im ingame?

Joseph Meurs: hmm, ill login ingame and try to contact a gm, thx

SEL Agent Reinaldo: Yes, to a GM; but if it turns out being a bug, then you have to go to service and support > support > mail > bug

SEL Agent Reinaldo: you're most welcome; take care!

Joseph: thx

So i did what the GM told me to do but the ingame GM also couldnt help.
He said it was probably a 'rest' bug cause more ppl had the same problem.
He told me to send an email.
So i sended a mail and the next day it suddenly woke up.

I still have the problem sometimes that it take more days for the chocobo to wake up than i actually chosed for his rest.
But mostly it will wake up after 3 rl days now.

So, if your chocobo dont wake up anymore its probably 'bugged',
just send a message to the playonline team before it die lol.

(If you dont understand this message, srry, im not great with long english messages)

Greetings,
Stormivan

I was able to buy a new egg from the npc but I couldnt raise it since Im already raising my first chocobo. After you retire your chocobo will you still be able to ride it? Or is that like the end of that one and you move on to a new one? Just wondering. It would be great to own a flock of them lol.

WOOHOO my chocobos strength increased today ^^

strength- substandard
endurance- substandard

Mine changed too :)

Strength: A bit defiant (or something like that)
Endurance: unfortunatly still substandard

I am so cruel to my choco. It's been on the Carry package program for almost 3 weeks straight :p

Drops packages every time and tends to injure itself every other day.

Still not as fast as a rental but on a straightaway I can slowly catch up to another choco who's substandard.

Maybe my next choco I'll play with foods and such. At some point I would love to have a choco thats high in both strength and endurance, not so much for choco racing but I like having my own personal choco to call when I want to get places fast.
