Hey there. I haven't played in over 4 years and there are so many changes since then. Looking for friends to party or just socialize with in game. My character's name is Lukyno. I'm a level 53mnk but heading back to level my whm up. Hit me up in game! =D Hoping to meet new friends and have fun again.

Hi, I am thinking about returning to ffxi. But I will be starting from scratch. Will I be able to find other players on Shiva server that are just beginning to party with? I really enjoy the group/party battle aspect of the game!

It's unlikely you'll find many brand new players, but you shouldn't have too many problems finding bodies to party with. The game has changed, especially leveling, in recent years. Most of the leveling is now done in dungeons; especially Gusgen Mines (basically level ten to whenever you decide to leave), with a very steady stream of people all the time. So yes, to answer your question, there will be people. Now I cannot promise you'll still enjoy the battle aspect of it because it has changed a LOT from the six person days of yore. Your mileage may vary, etc.
