I'm a super noob, aka ubern00ber.
I'm running around Windurst or whatever, taken aback by the nonsense atop the shenanigans all wrapped in a blanket of confusion.
If someone could help me out, I'd more than greatly appreciate it.
I'm playing on my 360 using a USB keyboard.
I'll soon have it on my laptop as well for constant gaming on the go.

I recommand looking through the different links for the items/quests/missions so you can know which NPC sells what kind of things, or where to go for an easy rides through some of the newbie quests.
A lot of the magic scroll for spells and equipment are sold in Windurst Port on some docks in the middle of the area. They cheaper than the Auction House for starting, etc.
Also, at the exit of Windurst Woods to East Saratabaruta, there's a Taru left of the gate that gives you advice and "free items", like an exp ring and reraise earring if you complete the tutorial quests (getting Signet, eat food, get your first Weapon Skill and reach level 5)
Don't be afraid to ask for help in-game in a mature way. The community is very helpful. Please, if you have another question, don't hesitate !
