Pfft my shell just had the best event last nite. Race across the world drinking game.

Well, consider that the rewards for Eco-warrior are a measly 5000 gil and a Dragon Chronicles page (around 1000 EXP).

Now consider the pain of trying to assemble an alliance for it, the time lost on people getting aggroed and killed and having to return to the NPC and have the oil re-applied, then returning to the ???, the accidental ledge jumps which mean that PCs have to exit the maze and start over, etc...

So you end up spending a lot of frustrating time for rewards that could be gotten in other, quicker, more fun ways.

It's an optional mission. Don't fret over it.
