Hello.
New player here. Just wanted to introduce myself.
I play Mitsuna, and I hope that she'll have a long and eventful career here.
I plan to try to make her as diverse as possible, because I want to participate in all that the game offers.

As for me, I'm new to FFXI, but not new to MMORPG's at all. I'll probably ask some seemingly innane questions in the coming months, but i'll try to keep those to a minimum. I do so try to figure things out for myself.

Any way, hope to see y'all on the server. Ciao.

Hello new person.

One of the most important things in this game is finding a good social linkshell.

I'll offer up Ichiban.

Please "/sea all Shusio" or Ryhaa or Meequwae. One of us will get you a pearl so you can join the insane asylum.

Sorry about that. I'm still getting used to doing nothing while I heal up, so I keep a book near me. A few times I got more than a little distracted while reading, so that when I finally remembered my character, my buffs had all worn out. Do the waits for healing get longer or shorter as the game progresses?

I would be interested in joining your Linkshell (I'm assuming this is ike a guild in other games?), though I don't know how. :( I did speak to Shusio briefly in game, though. How do ya add people to the friends list?

Hopefully I'll run across y'all again in game.

Healing HP from resting doesn't get quicker for the simple fact you get more HP as you level up. BUT it does get faster because certain jobs gain abilities and magic to help regain HP.

You also start to party up as you progress in levels. I'd say most people start to party up around lv 15 these days. After you learn the ropes (and get a subjob) you can get to lv 15 in a day (maybe 10-15 hours total).

I would very much suggest getting one job to 18 so you can get your subjob. A subjob allows you to have half the power of another job while the full power of your main job. Subjob also gives you a small stat boost (More HP's, MP, str, etc.)

Keep looking for us. We'll get you.

as for 1-15 taking 10 hours.. alot less.. i can make 10 in 3 these days..

in theory you can find a party at 10, but those days are pretty much over since level sync killed the idea of a party for level 10. 12 is a more reasonable number though than 15 id say..

hope to see you in game sometime mitsuna!! welcome to it and good luck!
