Ok so as far as leveling goes im pretty fast i went from level 12-40 in around 3 days .... i level both inside and outside the party at the moment im 40 with half exp to 41 but i have a few questions my gear is as follows

2x Federation knife
2x Parrying knife
Trump Crown
Spike necklace
2x Beetle earring +1
Beetle harness +1
Scantless armlets
2x Reflex ring
San d'Orian boots (soon Leaping boots)
san d'Orian trousers
Warrior Belt +1
Travler's mantle

now im not sure what gear i should use cuase the brunt of this gear is level 25 .... and it seems to be doing its job thus far i hope to get Roguedisc thing Rare/ex drop soon as long as the leaping boots i had the bcnm pair of leaping boots and sold em for money but now i need to know where i sshould level cause im not quite sure. not only gear questions although that is part of what im asking but the other part being do you suggest i solo my levels or party and if so where are good solo sports where i can chaain monsters or atleast pull in some good exp atleast... i usually solo in bad places either too easy or too hard and get exp chaain with low exp or high exp no chain so let me know where to go im level 40/nin and as far as subjob goes whats the best subjob niin right??/

I'll let others tackle the gear issue (Even though you'll get directed to the Ninja Forums) and ask if you have Ni yet.

Since 37 is where NIN takes off, if you don't have it, I suggest farming something you can solo on to kill two birds with one stone. Otherwise, if you can go 12-40 in 3 days you shouldn't really need much advice on leveling. If you don't know where to go, sync in places you know and eventually you can solo in campaign.

Crawler's Nest and beetles in Altepa can easily get you through to 50 as well. I wouldn't recommend even bothering with campaign until at least 50 though. That being said, 60+ is where you'll reap the benefits of campaign.
