Anyways, I use to have a character on this server back in the day (4-5 years ago?). I played a tarutaru named Bek and had a 74 DRK before quitting completely. I ended up giving my gear to another DRK named Ender before deleting my character.
So I'm back from the dead and am going to give it another go. Same name, same looking tarutaru. I was just curious if any of the old school players still play? If so hopefully you recognize me. I R WANTS A LINKSHELL! :D
People that I remember the most are Neorei, Ender, minitaru and some others that I doubt play. Maybe Neorei still does? That nucca helped me with my AF, died like a champ for it too!
Anyways, I hope to meet up with some old school players. Look me up! :)

It seems FFXI has changed so much. I ran into a few friends of mine from back in the day and they are catching me up on a lot of changes. Besides the new jobs apparently noone uses skillchains anymore in pts? That sucks, those were so much fun! I'm leveling a black mage So I guess I get to solo in this game afterall..le sigh.

yup solo for j000 as for the no using skillchains thing that right though i still dont see why people dont do it pre aht urghan exp cause if you ask me its still quite needed at those levels lol..... cant squash a crawler crab beetle or antica as fast as a colibri so imo sc + mb are still quite necessary pre AU exp

Well if thats the case then hopefully I get lucky enough to get some parties. I still have a ways to go considering I need to hit 15, get the subjob quest out of the way, then start leveling white mage for a bit.

I remeber the name Bek, only because i always wondered if you meant to spell it beck, but typed it wrong on your first night with the game after several alchoholic drinks. But after 4.5 years in this game, ive come to realize names make absolutly no sense 99.9% of the time.

And I just remembered something that irritated me about Square Enix: Why in the hell don't they distribute the update to sites like filefront, or fileplanet? Must we ALL download through Playonline? A 3 hour update for what I'm sure is no more then 80-100 megs. haha
le sigh.
Edit: Started the download at like 2:58 PM PST. Its now 9:12 PM PST and I just finished. Splendid downloading system SE has!
