I am so tired of the botting... so tiredFollow

Well i wanna make this i hope this doesnt come off as a rant.

For the last week straight my linkshell as been on Chary's *** like white on rice. Every single time his window pops, we are there. Mostly the only ones there. Its a calm relaxed enviroment our ls can bond in with hours of camping/sleeping/playing checkers over the game with. It has been fun, and our Goal is 27-34 Joy-toys for every single pld, rdm and warrior in the shell.

But damn, the last three days has been nothing but crap

Only two claims over a JP linkshell that somehow got tod (Nobody else was even the area but us) has been taking nearly every single claim. We used simple tricks that worked to get our only two claims the last two days, but they arent letting us dupe them again.

I understand that people need this sword, i understand that there may be competition. But we are a joke compared to these guys botting skills.

I dont know what they are using, but the JP are constantly targeting everything, and person in the room. Their head is constantly moving like crazy. They even target Pets like carbuncle, yet when Chary pops, they get the claim Lighting fast.

one second the bot is looking at me across the room, the next, he is voking Chary that just popped right beside him. Another weird thing is Chary keeps on Popping RIGHT on top of our voker's. So they cant voke right off without moving back.

well after the sixth time of this happening i lost my patience and decided to call an lolGM. as you all can figure out, he said he would look into it, which in english means... "We dont ban JP players".

Life isnt fair, and i dont like ********* but this is ridiculous, when is SE gonna get its act together and take care of things like this.

Though i KNOW they are botting, just in case, i wont release and Names or shells yet, just incase they are superhuman afterall.

I do believe this to be another type of bot, a new kind, since they arent supposed to target certain things, but these do, and its just got me all pissed off.

Im trying to stay calm at this injustice, butcamping after this last time for a whopping 14 hours with no pop, and still getting out claimed by JP group JUST WALKIN IN THE DOOR.

im gonna loose my mind, is there ANY way i can counter such things, any feed back would apreciated.

Well, I was there last night with 2 friends, and was just us and some shell that brought like 12+ to it. Wasn't any botting that I could see, since I was the one that claimed it. Of course, this was literally the first pop after I walked in the door (woo for 5 mins total camping), and it sat up for like 3 seconds before I threw dia on it.

And as far as getting the ToD, you don't have to be in zone to get a general idea of when it died. If a whole linkshell is killing it, /sea the zone every now and then until the number in zone drops by like 10-20, and there's your ToD.

And with PH's clear, you just spam a spell or voke to claim when they are supposed to repop, there's no reason to have to go out of your way to target it, so the fact that someone was targetting you then claimed doesn't mean much.


idk, I can understand you being frustrated, but what you've said here doesn't really show that they are botting, just that they are beating you on the claim (i.e. getting lucky).

I'll give you word of advice. When there's a party waiting there, that usually gives away that his window is up. Anyone that camps it should go under /anon. Just have one or two people kill the placeholders when his window is open. and have your team ready to rock should it pop.

I doubt people bot him, I've out pulled a lot of JP/NA pts on the placeholders. There's only that whole section of the water where it pops, and it's not that big.
There was one time I out pulled Charby from some people from Satoki's LS, which was Integration I think.

But yeah, I had a whole bunch of fun camping him. I've gotten about ten people that sword. Hopefully some of those people remember it, I use to camp it day and night with a mule.
