Hey welcome you guys ^^ I hope you enjoy the game a lot!! Any tips for making gil or crafting or whatever you can really find here. This site is great and players give other players advice on every subject you can imagine. If you need in game help and you see me please feel free to ask anytime Ill do what I can. A few pointers that I would recommend... dont use shout chat a lot... its very annoying and a lot of newer people feel the need to shout often for some reason, dont beg for things...especially gil, dont sell things cheaper than the standard price on the auction house if you can help it... if you really need the gil now sell it on your personal bazaar for cheaper than the AH price. Those are things that you probably already know but ya never can tell and if it can help you at all then thats cool. If any of you ever need help on making macros or anything else just give me a tell online... my name is Norrain and I am always willing to help.

windurst gil making tips ... (things i wish i knew when i started ^^)

1. save the following and sell in stacks:

fire crystals 1900-2.5k
bat wings 1-2k
wild onions 3500-4500
silk threads 8-11k ( ? )

crawler stones, gob armour, and yaguido necklaces also sell

2. Dont expect to make 20k gil an hour immeadiately. Farming is much more than just going out into an area and killing things. Over time you'll develop routes and tactics to increase your gil making ability.

3. Dont get frustrated. There are very few "get rich quick" schemes. Dont try to raise the cash for leaping boots in one day ... cause honey it aint gonna happen. Take your time and think ahead to plan your farming day. While you are enacting that plan, go ahead and plan for the next few days .. cause chances are you'll be farming for multiple days (or even weeks in my case).

4. Multiple money making tactics!

combine farming with a craft and you can make alot more money.
example : I cook, so i would farm in areas where mobs would drop things i needed, in addition to the normal drops i would sell.

5. pay attention to the AH.

prices fluctuate, and just like the stockmarket ... it's very predictable. Learn when prices are low and when they are high and buy/sell accordingly.

anyway that should help out for now, if you want me to expound on any of the above feel free to send me a /tell ^^
