Post here for AF quest helpFollow

ok all, everyone eventually needs help with thier AF stuffs. be it needing a coffer key, finding a coffer chest, or finding a SITE that lists mobs/locations for the above. so, when you're needing something specific for your AF, list it here. please be specific. tell us:

Job/Level you are.
What you need (key, chest, getting to chest with a WHM, or alliance for tough quest).
List Job/Levels you have helping already.
Time you'll be available.

This topic can get ALOT of responses if we keep it straight. Also, once you get the AF quest/coffer hunt done, please jump back on here and make a post saying COMPLETE, so you won't mislead others :D

Again, we ALL need help at somepoint, so please lend a hand! write down the names of peeps you can help, and holla at them!

Yeah, I'm going to be levelling my 27 Blm sub tonight with some linkshell peeps, but I'll try to keep Friday open for key hunting (3pm until whenever CST).

The NM might be a bit tougher. I'd say when you go if you need another person, let me know and I'll go if I can. I spent hours doing Paladin and Bard AF3 last Sunday, so I know they're pretty time consuming to organize and complete.

Now, for my info:

- 56 Rdm/Blm
- Need coffer keys for Castle OZ, Garlaige, and Eldieme - one at a time, of course, and I'm not in any rush for now
- Grimshady (58 Whm) and Chokyboky (60 Rng) have both tentatively offered to help pending availability. I can also probably bully a 60 Pld into helping me since I went with him for his AF3
- I am available almost every weekday from 5pm-10pm CST. On Fridays it's 3pm-whenever, and weekends it depends on what I'm doing.

I need a full 18 person alliance to kill NM in Xcbalkklhjxfh lol. level 60+

i think i'll be nice and post some help for my ls mates (i am nowhere near high enough to help)

he is a rdm, and he has helped others get AF. from what he told me, he helped (a pld i think it was) get her AF, and she said she would help him. when he asked, he received responses like "get your own damn key, and stop bothering me". he's very distraught and is tryin to make a warrior taru (eventually pld, oh the irony =P). if you would like to help him out, send me a /tell on shiva. Alrighty, it would seem i've made a Thread that people can relate to. I'm going to keep a written, running log of people who are willing to help. For all you others, please feel free to do that same. So far, we have:

It sounds like the 5 of us (plus any upcoming helpers) can amost form our own party to get keys! Garglaile, Eldemiene, Crawlers Nest, Beadeaux, Castle Bailey? whatever, we've got the right jobs to make our own party. so please, if you're level 50+ and are looking to start/help AF quests, let us know!!!!

<=== downleveled to 57 last night..... got in LB3 party that didn't wait for others, so i got killed. 2 times. and does the white mage EVER get raise2 or higher? hell no. he's the one that GIVES them! yes, i'm bitter.... i ate like 3500xp loss....

Update: while getting paper for a few members of my {Incredibly Tough} linkshell, we decided to get me a Necropolis coffer key. Five hours later, we got one. Then we found a coffer spawn. So, one down, two to go. We have tentative plans to go back to the Necropolis today for another guy, and then on to Garlaige if we're all still conscious.

That leaves Castle Oztroja as the only key I should need outside help with.

Grimshady: any idea what day you're going to want to do your Beadeaux key? I should be free any day except today this week.

Migue: I should probably be able to help you with various key hunts if I'm not busy. However, I would recommend gaining a few more levels before you worry about it. I'm lvl 56, and most coffer key droppers are VT-IT+ to me. Also, I wouldn't be trying to get an alliance for AF3 until at least lvl 58. Prior to that, you're really too weak to help with the fight, and people won't be very willing to join you.

If you don't mind some advice, it might be better to do it the other way. I spent a while going on key hunts and coffer hunts and LB1 and whatnot, and now I have a lot of people who "owe me" and are willing to help me with my key hunts.

It's not that there's anything really rude about asking for help before you help someone, it's just that a lot of people won't be willing to take you up on that if they don't know you. Helping others out also gives you a lot of opportunities to make friends and connections that will benefit you down the road.

Hello i need help with AF2 for white mage, travel to Castle Oztroja and fight some level 53-58 yagudo abbots, its very easy but no one will help my taru self

/tell me for help with your NM quests on AF, or when you need a WHM period. if i'm not crafting or getting EXP, i'll do all i can to help you out! only 58 WHM, so i can't solo them, but i can sure help out!

Yeah, I was thinking about waiting to 60 but I am really poor in the game and see people taht are lvl 54 with aF, and the thing is that it would help me alot instead of buying new equipment to just do my AFs and use them as I progress. I'm trying fishing now but it'ss obviously going slow. Plus, we should be able to handle the AF 3 with a full alliance and atleast a high lvl bard to sleep the 2 undead that assist Gerwitz's scythe. I am really not that weak for my level so i'm willing to take on anything to get these AFs. I will ask every jp in jueno like i did for LB 1 to help. But if you guys really want to help me I will try to put an alliance together, I can get 2 other drks around my lvl that need it as well and maybe more drks out there that need it so I will see what I can do after my THF hits 15.
