Wow talk about a blast from the past!

FFXI is a very different game from the last time I saw you running around :P

I don't know what is entailed in the process of character revival, but I'd imagine that you'd need your ID and Info...

That being said, if you had to start from scratch, with the changes they have made recently its not as huge an issue as it was even a year ago. You can easily solo 5k/hr with Fields of Valor.

A few weeks ago I took Samurai from lvl 1 to lvl 42 in 3 days. (3 5-6 hr sessions) and I think I only had 2-3 full exp pt's the entire time, one of which I lost more exp then I gained.

With 2 or 3 people you can easily pull in great exp/hr and farm at the same time :P

The game has gotten much more casual for me in that respect, and I'm having more fun now then I've had in ages!

Hell yeah conf i remember u!! :D :D We were in sebbo's Empyre LS no? I just came back to the game last week, focusing on crafting and missions since HNM is still such a burnout... probably even more, how you been!?

Oh wow, so many people I know in those SS's. So many that I didn't know were in the same ls way back then... lol Kinda nostalgic though looking and seeing people I haven't talked to in a looong time.

I came back to FF a few months ago and was able to retrieve my account. I remembered the PlayOnline ID, but I did not have the correct password or the last used credit card info. All they had me do was fill out a form and get it notarized and I had my account back all within a week.

I am deathly bored of WOW as well. I have been playing since beta, and I just log in and stand in town for a bit, then log off. There really are no other good games out. As fun as it might sound to play FF again, I got bored of it again as well. There are a lot worse players now-a-days who get into parties (remember when you knew all the people that sucked and they wouldn't get invited?), not to mention waiting an hour to put a group together, spending 45 minutes getting to camp just to realize that someone has to go in 15 minutes. It seems like the quality of players has gone down, its pretty common now to have someone join your party and have to leave 20 minutes later. I guess I got used to WOW where you can log in and start playing / having fun right away.

There are new areas/missions to explore along with some new classes though. But I would not have come back if I could not of got my old account back

Wow beans.. I wonder if Kawase/Ryu/Asukka/Shona/Sebbo are still kicking around hah.. My brother meatball and me are coming back for FF14. Go hard or go home :P Right now I'm in the process of getting a notarized form sent out, found my POL book with id's and everything so here's to hoping.. If not, waiting on FF14!

Not seeing one familiar face almost makes me want to server transfer to see if I could enjoy the game again on a high population server.

Hey Fuzzy, it's me Spellbinder. First time checking these boards in over 3 years. Crazy memories from when we first started during NA release eh? Not sure how many people are left, I know Asukka, Ryu, Blackice and several others have quit I believe. They might still have their characters floating around but they're all in WoW atm.

Not sure if it's worth coming back though for me, with FF14 about to be release within a year or so. Anyways, just wanted to send a shout out. :)

Wow the FFXI nostalgia must be hitting alot of people, im thinkin about coming back also but i dont think ill be able to get my char back since i gave it to Krakr if anyone remembers him and dunno if he even still plays.
