Well the subject speaks for itself! But i want to make sure its the right decision to leave my current server for this one.

Lately the server i reside, has been quite....disappointing. I have seen many cruel acts and personalities that seem to develop in the later levels. There were few players that showed overall kindness, but the negative overlaps the positive.

I killed one of my mules in the server to check out Seraph, since i met two of the folk in Anime Central '09 that encouraged me to seek out this server. Heard many positive things, and one of my good friends who is in the military and out in mission came to this server for a year.

The server thread is also just full of incompetent, flaming, trolls, etc. It could go on, i do not even bother posting on Alla unless im in the Dragoon Forums.

My level is of no importance, though lets just say i have yet to touch 75 as of 2.5 years and i have a real good feeling about this summer! I would say Early June.

Please give me info about Seraph, Economy, Party's, People, Linkshells, and many more that would support this topic.

I would highly appreciate it!

I've been on Seraph for about 9 months now, and everyone I've met (with a very few exceptions) has been incredibly helpful and friendly. It's more of a family/community, so you get to know people better and don't have to feel as "anonymous."

The other side of that coin is, as a smaller server, there aren't as many people doing different things. So, the economy is basically solid, but the AH is king of hit or miss if there's something you need. It all depends on if someone is crafting/farming/etc. the particular item you need at the time. That also means that prices can fluctuate moreso than normal due to the (seemingly) smaller supply.

Overall, I've been incredibly lucky in the people I've been able to meet and play with, so I don't regret coming to Seraph in the least. I hope this gave you a little insight, and I hope you enjoy it if you do decide to come over.

Been on Seraph since 05'. I like it. It's not over crowded and the player base is pretty solid. It can be slow as far as activities at times, but that's OK too.

Yo! ^^ I'm one of the two you met. The other is around Alla too (she's the one that keeps winning all the prizes and making people mad jealous because of her 100+3 real life craft skills.)

hey, sorry to hijack the thread, but i didnt want to clutter the boards with my own :)

Im thinking of starting up FFXI again (used to play on shiva in 2005) and was wondering if Seraph has a decent sized EU player population and people at lower levels to party with.

Thanks in advance

From all I've been able to tell RMT are much less welcome around here than other servers... but that's a good thing.
