I think as a community that we need to band together to make Opticon's in game life on Seraph extremely uncomfortable. Most recently I gave him grace and allowed him into my linkshell as a sign of good faith because he professed to me his desire to change. He promptly destroyed all faith and trust by calling every one who entered my linkshell "penis". I had to boot him and ban him from the linkshell. After doing so he proceeded to harass my linkshell by creating a new shell under the name vegasofvanadiei and making it the same color. He then handed out pearls to No.Obs and proceeded to break them telling them the linkshell leader booted them. He then told them to send me a tell asking why. I dealt with angry No.Oblet tells for about 2 weeks about broken pearls. As well as several GM calls over the course of that time frame to see if they cold assist in helping me resolve the issue. I deal with enough legitimate people who are pissed off at me because I am a bitch adding a slew of new players to that mix it becomes a bit much.
This person uses Final Fantasy as a tool to harass people. Article 3 Section 1 of the user agreement states:

Under the United States Code Title 18 Subsection 1514(c)1. Harassment is defined as "a course of conduct directed at a specific person that causes substantial emotional distress in such a person and serves no legitimate purpose" and is subsequently illegal according to this federal article.
Since Square Enix fails to protect us as a player base I am calling every one who speaks English to assist in removing this cancerous blight on our server. Linkshell leaders talk to your members. Tell every one not to buy items from his bizzar, ignore his shouts and refuse to be in party with him. Refuse to pearl him if you are a sackholder or linkshell owner. Black list him if you see him on so he can not talk to you and generally ignore him. If he harasses you calla GM immediately and report him. One of two things will happen: 1) he will quit the game because he will be unable to progress 2) he will change servers. If we all work together as one unit, one voice, one mind that his type of behavior will not be tolerated it will send a message to other on the server like him. I can not think of a better person to make an example out of then Opticon. Let's send a message to all the dishonest and destructive players by making Opticon's ingame life as unbearable as he has made it for others, that we will not accept this on Seraph. I call on every one regardless of your affiliations and/or relationships with myself or others he has harmed do this out of your sense of duty and honor to uphold what is right and just. To protect our community for the greater good of us all.
My last thoughts: it is writen on this website "Square Enix responds on the forum" - So my question to SE is why make a rule and not up hold it? I have been asking for this player to be reprimanded for this behavior for almost 3 months in GM reports. I have not witnessed one banning by Square Enix over it because his acts continue on an ongoing basis. Even after he has openly admitted to acts of fraud in ingame communication, even after he has been reported for such acts of harassment by myself as well as others, you have done nothing to protect your player base from this vile, harmful player, Why is that? I think all of Seraph deserves an answer.
