I've been on Ramuh for 4 months now and am having a tough time finding a decent social Linkshell. No endgame necessary for me just yet even though I've got Sky and Dynamis access and am working towards Sea as well currently. However endgame is not fully what I desire just yet. (okay, having my relics wouldn't be the end of the world, but they can wait too)
I was in a social shortly after I migrated over, but their goals didn't suit me at all, I won't bash them...just say that it wasn't going to work out. I also responded to someone from this forum about a social just to find out that shell probably no longer exists. I've also submitted an app to Fragglerock with no luck...though that's alright.
75 thf/drg, 37 war/nin/sam, 20 whm/blm/sch/smn and 18 everything else right now. San D'Orian rank 6, ZM 14, CoP 5-3 (and progressing slowly w/ a static), WotG 8, ToAU 12. Never done Assault, Dynamis or much like that. What I hope to do is just be in a social/help shell though. I've been dying to find others who'd work alongside me for rank 10...an O Hat run (have the item already for spawn)...Diabolos and Fenrir Primes (0/1 D and 0/4 F so far) and doing various quests and missions for fun.
Maybe this forum is primarily endgame players, it seems most of the other forums out there I've found are just that as well. However maybe someone here could suggest shells. I'd really appreciate it.

Maybe you are confusing what you are looking for, or my definition sense is messed up. I thought a typical social would be to somewhat help people along with af etc... but no real long term goals.
You could probably check out guildportal, but your best bet is to ask the people in your CoP static.

Rejected by Fraggle...nah they apparently aren't recruiting currently. Besides I was trying to figure out how our CoP static was going to work out...that was about the same time the static started.
When I say their goals didn't match mine what I mean is this. (and I was trying to be polite) It was the fairly common LS setup, they weren't planning anymore rank mission runs...O Hat runs...NM camps since all the officers had done these things and gotten what they needed. They got a couple of us sky access to have enough bodies to effectively hunt God triggers. Once the Sky activities and Assault activities really began picking up it was no longer social at all. Pretty much only officers did Assault runs for the points/gear. Sky gear was only lottable by the officers. I just didn't get the sense that I wanted what the officers did so I politely backed out of the shell.
Or maybe a social/help shell is the term most would be familiar with. I like to help others, but I can't drop everything to help over and over only to walk away with very little myself. I like a fairly balanced help trade or at least working on common goals so everyone benefits when it's feasible. Okay...it's not always like this, I know. Though I don't just join shells to get things and leave. I've seen plenty of those types out there since I started playing and think it's just stupid to be honest.

I've had a tough time finding people to help with little things too like af, quests, missions, rank, assault, etc. I've was in a few endgame shells where people were very helpful, but lately it seems not so anymore.
I took a break and back for 2 weeks and responded to a /sh for ToA 13, I needed 15 last night. Got there and now on 18, and finally I got pup af head! The people that were helping were all from the same social ls, Fidelius. They gave me a shell and told me to check out www.funky7.net/fidelius. I'm not sure if a majority of the people in the shell use the site all the time, but at least you can inquire and maybe talk to someone to see if it'd be a good fit. Being so new I'm assuming they are helpful with all requests and do seem to have a ls static for CoP.

a few of us use the site ;-)... mostly those of us that are bored at work...
That being said... OP, not sure our ls (Fidelius) is what you are looking for, but you are welcome to come and join. You can send me a tell on either wolfbane or shaile (this evening)... or talk to other sack holders including Furierand, Vaius, Fanox, Aioras, Kiroo... etc.

Actually, you're correct. FraggleRock is and always has been a Social shell. I've had a pearl since my very first day in-game years ago. FraggleForce is indeed the Dynamis version. "The Rock" has always been Social. Any version of Fraggle that entailed EndGame usually followed the convention of Fraggle-something.
