Time to bring an epic length post into this thread (since I haven't posted in a while).

Okay, back story: years ago, I went down into Toraimarai Canal and came across Oni Carcass. I was on BST (which, at the time, was my only 75 -- that's how long ago this was) so my immediate reaction was "NM, KEEL!". I called out CC and went to work. I got the toad down to about 50% when it used Mighty Strikes. My screen froze. It kicked back on, and the game was jumbled. All of the colors were wrong. I couldn't move. Shapes were all sorts of misconfigured. Turns out, the damn thing fried my video card! The only NM that forced me to spend money ...

Fast forward until about a week or two ago. I was bored and decided to see if Oni Carcass was up. To my chagrin, he was. I rocked his ass so hard, and the satisfaction of finally getting vengeance made the three undead skins that dropped worth it. I only hope he can remember the ass-whooping he received, and doesn't try frying anyone else's hardware.

Also, DRK to 66. Been soloing since the 50s or so. Inching closer and closer to 72. Can't wait to play around with my Octave Club!

Got 97 fishing day before yesterday and 98 fishing yesterday. Getting close now.

Got 99 fishing a few days ago.

Yay, back-to-back accomplishments.

Dinged 41NIN today in East Ronfaure [S], and then completed the AF weapon quest using my gimply, shieldless PLD.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna be camping Mee Deggi ('cuz I was gimp and leveled SAM without 'em, and I feel extra gimp not having them on my NIN).

I accomplished quitting. The last time I even turned on FFxi was to wish Pawke a farewell. So after getting hacked, getting my account back, I throw in my FFxi towel. The awesomeness is I quit with a PCC, Avalon Breastplate, Kirin Osode, and about 20mil of other items and cold hard cash.

Obtained Saber Shoot on Saturday. Now to get Opal Silk at some point for ebisu.

Got Saotome Kote last night after too many Dynamis-Bastoks.

I'm also one assault away from finally getting yigit feet.

Reactivated this month after being gone for about two or three months. Been working on getting my DRK to 72, which happened today. Now I just have to finish my octave club zerg build.

Need to finish DRG to 37, get Wyvern Targe/Earring, a Blitz Ring, and at some point HQ my dusk hands and feet.

Killed Steelfleece I know it's nothing major but hell haven't killed him on my new character yet. I haven't seen old Steelfleece in 3-4 years.
