FellowTravelers is recruiting.

We've been around in one capacity or another since April 2004.

We are a group of people that understands the importance of real life, and centers ourselves around a family atmosphere. We all have jobs, school or children so we are not on all the time.

That being said we do participate weekly in different events with one another. Abyssea NM hunting, dynamis, limbus, KSNMs, BCNMs etc. Our goal is to enjoy the game together.

We generally operate from about 7pm EST to 1am EST, and welcome anyone that is looking for what we have to offer.

I feel bad bumping this so much, but people keep sending me tells asking if we're still recruiting. (and I'd rather bump than make new threads)

Yep!

We gained a few new people over the weekend. We've been gaining mainly returning/new players, which is just fine with me! As long as you're nice, and social you're more than welcome with us!

A little more about us:

The linkshell officially started back in 2004. I've taken a few short breaks over the years, but took a nice long six month break in January of this year. I came back in late July with several other old FT members. We are seeking out other fun-loving people to join us as we rediscover the game that has changed so much in the past few years.

Over a month since my last update. We've gained a lot of new people, and we're still going for more!

Since my first post we've gone from about 8 people to roughly 20. We don't plan to become overly huge, so I'll most likely stop around 30 or 35 regular players.

In addition to myself (Sealdorie), Mareck and Koromer you may now also contact Blujinn or Canotto for a pearl.

Our recruitment section of the boards is open for anyone to post so if you would like to post there (if you cannot find Sealdorie, Mareck, Koromer, or Blujinn online) when you're ready for a pearl please do so!

We help with whatever we can given we have the time and means to do so. The Kraken club you mentioned would be the most difficult of the two seeing as it has been moved to a BCNM, and the drop rate is abysmally low. However, it is an easy BCNM to attempt. Joyeuse is just a matter of getting his ToD and grabbing him as always. With the level cap increase he is incredibly easy for any one of our members to solo/duo with you.

Also- which edition of ffxi did you purchase? The only edition with every expansion (including abyssea, which you will need) is the Abyssea edition of the game that is a digital download only.

Rorshax - you bought a scroll from me the other day on the AH. =)

I am also a returning player, and I come with 2 friends, who are brand new players. I'm looking to enhance their play experience as much as possible and I think a linkshell would help with that, particularly in the group finding and random questions department should they be playing when I'm not on.

My IG main character is called "Xalterax" - right now my plan to fill one of the 2 key party roles and go WHM/SCH (long term) and WHM/RDM (short term) after I actually unlock sub jobs. I know I'm looking forward to actually doing the summon fights, as I'd like to try WHM/SMN - but it looks as though WHM/SCH will win out between the two.

Anyhow, I'm on EST and we will probably typically be playing after work for me (5 EST - Midnight). Mainly just looking for others to coordinate with for hopefully crafted gear and whatnot. I'm quite helpful myself long term, but right now I've got very little to work with and 2 friends I'm trying to support so...

So far at least selling scrolls on the AH has kept me going. =P
